My sister and I have been attending Aslihan classes for the last 10 weeks. We did try other teachers but found Aslihan by far the best for us. Aslihan is a very calm and gentle teacher. She very subtly offers advice how to place your body. My sister and I are both in our 60’s and to start some of the moves were quite difficult . Over time you feel the improvement. We are so happy to have found Aslihan. This class is for all ages and I can’t recommend her enough. From someone who disliked exercise I now look forward to Yoga.

My husband and I have been having 1to 1 yoga with Aslihan for at least three years. She is not just a yoga teacher, but a mentor also. Her yoga teaching is not just technical but also very spiritual and her philosophy is simple to keep the ego aside and enjoy yoga. She believes in the real value of yoga where the movement, breath and mind should all sync together. She truly leads by example, and is extremely devoted and dedicated to her craft. Her knowledge is exemplary but she keeps learning with her curiosity. My husband and I both feel so positive after her yoga classes. We have done balance, strength, meditation, breath work and so much more with her. Thank you Aslihan πŸ™ for your energy and teachings.

I started weekly personal sessions with Aslihan just over two months ago . The main motivation was chronic sciatica which I had been struggling with for a few months and unable to sleep properly . I also suffer from frequent lower back pain issues over the past 10 years . I have also had several Thai massage sessions to compliment our yoga time . Aslihan has the most calming, nurturing energy to be with . Her knowledge, guidance and focus to deeply understand my body and what she could do to help was so apparent in just one session . I had no huge expectations when I went but after only one session with Aslihan my symptoms were hugely reduced and by the third week my sciatica had disappeared completely. My body feels more open and supple , my back and spine especially . Our sessions together create safety and space for me to physically and emotionally feel more connected with myself and feel less anxious and more hopeful 8) My weekly sessions with Aslihan are now an integral part of my journey to better physical and mental wellbeing .

Our daughter gave my wife and I a 5 week set of private yoga sessions with Aslihan. It was tricky because I had recently had a total knee replacement and was nervous about not putting it in jeopardy, and my has a shoulder injury sustained from tennis. Aslihan immediately put our minds at rest and took time to understand our injuries and explain how restorative yoga can offer big benefits on the path to recovery, alongside physiotherapy etc. The one on one sessions offer a wide variety of different moves which maintain the interest while stretching the body within the bounds of what is safe and sensible. Aslihan also believes in the mindfulness side of yoga and I have to admit to nodding off a couple of times as we wind down at the end ! We look forward to continuing our journey in the future.

Aslihan is an incredible yoga therapist. She has brought so much peace and light into my life and it is a joy working with her. I do 1-2-1 sessions, that focus on Fibromyalgia pain management as well as stress relief and anxiety coaching. I could not imagine life without her at this point as my pain has reduced significantly and I now have better tools to help cope with anxiety attacks and manage my stress better. I could not recommend anyone more! Thank you so much
