GoogleA place of authentic, calm, peace in the city when every other yoga studio feels like a hustle, loud and too much tight lycra for me. I've been attending YIDL for about 18 months on and off either in person or online. Walking into this space always feels like a deep sigh out of the body. Everyone is friendly. Being surrounded by the cool yellow and orange colours makes me feel tranquil. There's a beautiful garden and they also sell yoga accessories. I've attended many workshops and meditation courses here and there are lessons I will carry with me for life. I am grateful that this space exists in Brisbane. Hari Om.

The practice is a good combination between western and eastern philosophies. The yoga instructors are warm, nurturing and respectful. It is the ideal place for anyone who would like to start or learn more about the practice of yoga.
I have been attending the Yoga in Daily Life beginners courses this year and have also attended a couple of Full Moon meditations. There is a lovely welcoming vibe to the whole place. All the teachers are very skilled, professional and sincere and I always feel confident in their teaching and that I can trust their expertise. I really look forward to walking through the door and seeing their friendly faces, then entering the calm beautiful space of the hall and leaving my daily plans and busyness aside, and learning to breathe and be still and present. The exercises are gentle and there is no pressure to do anything uncomfortable or to be in competition with anyone. The fees are very reasonable too.
