GoogleEast of Eden Studio has quickly become my favourite place to practice. What truly sets it apart is the incredible sense of community – the friendly staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and connected. I particularly appreciate how the instructions in all the classes are consistently amazing, offering the perfect balance of clear guidance and motivating encouragement, which really helps deepen my practice. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, you'll find a wide range of classes to challenge and nurture you. Plus, their competitive pricing makes high-quality Reformer Pilates accessible to everyone. It's more than just a studio; it's a wonderful, supportive community. And then there's Abby, the incredible founder. If you ever join one of her Reformer classes, get ready for an hour packed with positive energy, serious sweat, and a fantastic, funky soundtrack. Just be warned: you'll also become intimately familiar with some of the slowest countdowns and the frequent command to 'HOLD!'
I've loved coming to East of Eden ever since I moved to Walthamstow. It's a little haven that has provided me with an excellent selection of classes and great teachers in a really welcoming environment. As a new mum, it's also been central to my recovery and social life with its wonderful postpartum subscription. The staff are brilliant too. I feel very lucky that this is my local studio!
East of Eden is a fantastic studio - I originally started coming here for spin but have been able to try a whole range of classes and enjoyed all of them. The instructors and front of desk staff are always friendly and welcoming. In the future, I’d love to see more themed spin classes and bigger changing areas, but those are minor points. Their recent LGBTQ fundraiser exemplified how much they care about serving community and I look forward to watching them grow!
Is this the best Yoga and Pilates studio in London? Yes. But does it offer a wide range of classes throughout the day? Also yes. But is the space beautiful and filled with plants and have a friendly welcoming community? YES. I love East of Eden. I have been a member for over a year. There is a wide variety of classes, tons of different works out, and brilliant teachers. Everyone is very friendly. The teachers take time to adjust your form and answer your questions. 11/10.
In 2018-2020 I was visiting East Of Eden sometimes 2/3 times a day (crazy I know) but the classes were the best! Although I moved away, I had to leave this review because the studio left a mark in my heart. Not only were the reformer classes out of this world fantastic, the yoga was too. The teachers here were simply THE BEST. It’s the coolest studio. Hands down. But more than that, it’s filled with teachers who really know their craft and can create magic. I would be lying if I said I didn’t wish this studio was still on my doorstep, I think about it a lot. I genuinely think about this yoga studio at least once a week - like a long lost friend. So if you’re thinking about going- go!!
