Before giving birth, Milarka offered us a longer session to work on our breathing and better manage contractions. I must say that all of these classes helped me tremendously, both with the minor discomforts of pregnancy and with the pains of labor. She is a very competent and attentive instructor, and I thank her for her advice. I highly recommend her to pregnant women!
Myllarka's prenatal yoga classes on the floor and in the pool accompanied me throughout my pregnancy. They were a real moment of relaxation and connection with my baby to prepare for my delivery. Her explanations are clear and she gives keys to better understand the movements of her body for the big day! Myllarka is also very gentle and positive, I highly recommend!
I participated in the prenatal (mat and pool) and postnatal yoga classes and felt very well supported. Myllarka provides guidance with her professional advice and experience, and thanks to the reasonable group sizes, she can meet individual needs. Beyond that, a space has been created to connect with others sharing the same experience. The exercises serve both as relaxation, and for some, as relief, and as preparation for childbirth. I was particularly able to use the breathing exercises. Thank you again, Myllarka! ;) Unfortunately, there wasn't a pool available for the classes in my neighborhood, but I gladly made the trip by car. The studio for mat yoga is located in the 5th arrondissement of Marseille in a very pleasant space, a sort of tranquil garden amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. Absolutely recommended!
Myllarka's prenatal yoga classes helped me not only during my pregnancy, to relax and cope with the minor aches and pains that accompanied it, but also, and especially, during my delivery. Thanks to Myllarka's relaxation methods and breathwork, I was able to master the sensations of labor and childbirth as they arose and experience this important moment serenely despite my fears and apprehensions. Having had a particularly long labor, the pelvic movements I learned from her proved indispensable for me and, along with her gentle back stretches, allowed me to maintain my comfort and mobility while allowing my baby and body to naturally prepare for what came next, from home to the delivery room. The various breathing exercises helped me the most throughout this experience, and it was mainly thanks to them that I was able to welcome and accompany the contractions one after the other, to ground both my body and my mind to feel fully present and involved in my labor, right up until the moment of pushing. From all of this, I retain the feeling of having actively supported the descent and birth of my baby. Although I was fortunate that everything went well, it was largely thanks to these classes that I was able to experience this event with such awareness and calm. I can only wish all expectant mothers a similarly positive experience, and for that reason, I highly recommend Myllarka's classes.
I took the postnatal yoga classes, which I found very appropriate. Myllarka demonstrates extensive experience, accompanied by kindness and professionalism. These sessions brought me great well-being and a return to fitness that respected my body, and I highly recommend them. The studio is very pleasant, overlooking a lovely garden. I now plan to switch to traditional classes.
