GoogleLove Love Love yoga on Wednesday nights with Jordan! It's flow, deep stretch and releasing - always excites me for the following week - so happy I found Pure Bliss Yoga and Jordan!!
I want to start by saying that I'm not much for reviews good or bad but with a place like Pure Bliss, well you just have to review. I wouldn't say I'm a full time yogi but I do incorporate it as part of my strength training and I recommend it to anyone in the same boat for benefits too many to list. The location is located strategically facing the Hudson River and NYC skyline which makes it an enjoyable experience especially, for evening sessions or events. The owner and the instructors are amazing in their own individual way and provide a great deal of knowledge and wisdom in their practice. As someone in operations, sales and marketing particularly in the health, fitness and wellness space. I have to say that they embody holistic community based wellness very well. ( It's hard not to observe this anytime I step into any wellness studio) I honestly can't say enough about the special events and guest they have in their studio. I particularly love the sound bath and if you haven't tried one before than I highly recommend you try it at Pure Bliss. The sound baths at Pure Bliss are welcoming, educational, awakening and at times, out of body experience. I write this review because the word is already out and classes and events have been filling up but I love how they still stuck to their core values of helping and putting people and community first.
I love the classes, instructors and the location!
Did aerial with Elise - they have very good deals for class package (~27/class) and trial (~15/class for first 3 aerial). Class started out slow (rolling stretches) which is nice for beginner but i can see people who've done this a while may want higher intensity. I tried for the first time and Elise helped me do inverse, goddess, and a bunch of other poses which is cool.
This yoga studio by the Hudson River is amazing! I have been attending the Fort Lee location, and now they have an Edgewater location too. You can do yoga with a view of the river and the city. All the teachers are really good. Gail is a fantastic teacher she knows how to help you stretch your muscles the right way. I always feel great after class. Highly recommend!
