The teachers are very knowledgeable and friendly. I enjoy the mix of classes. Yoga has helped with my balance, strength and flexibility. It also helps with my mobility and feeling good. There are a nice group of people in the class I go out to coffee, lunch or dinner as well. Everyone is very friendly. I highly recommend the yoga classes.
I have been attending the Shala for three years to help rehabilitate an existing back and shoulder injury. Both Youngblood and Maura have been friendly and helpful in giving advice about my practice all through my time at the shala. I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been and my back and shoulder issues have improved considerably from my ashtanga practice. The community at the shala is wonderful, the energy is calming and positive. I have made some lifelong friends during my time at the Shala. Thank you Maura and Youngblood for your wisdom and guidance.
Varied and challenging classes, never repetitive and great for all levels. Maura and Youngblood are excellent teachers.
Amazing variety of classes: yin and intro to yoga, hips and shoulders and strengthening classes towards building one self up, whilst getting in-depth understanding of the body and anatomy with yoga sequences that help experience it addressed within the body: for those wanting to continue the journey to Mysore and advanced Ashtanga Yoga practice being available. Great teachers, that teach with great care and so much knowledge and wisdom. If you become a weekly member, you can access all the classes online from home so you dont miss out, this excludes mysore. So happy to have found this heaven and recommend them highly for those looking for such a place.
