Our first experience at Stillpoint was a workshop with David Swenson. We enjoyed it so much and felt so comfortable with Scott Johnson that we decided to go on our first yoga retreat with him to Purple Valley in Goa. We weren't disappointed. Both Scott and Emma are skilled, sensitive teachers who teach from the heart. We enjoyed the trip so much that we are now planning our second. We live too far away from Stillpoint to be regular visitors but, when we can, we make the journey to London to attend workshops/events. I would thoroughly recommend.

Welcoming, warm, supportive, professional & in a beautifully quiet spot, secluded and light-filled, tucked away right on doorstep of London Bridge. For anyone wishing to experience Ashtanga Yoga either as a beginner, or deepen your practice as an advanced practitioner - you will have a great experience with this wonderful team. Scott has built a sense of community and inclusivity that makes coming here each time feel a little like returning home.

Simply outstanding yoga teaching, with real personality, a sense of fun and a huge range of abilities and skills in the room. It’s self-guided Ashtanga yoga, which has the great advantage of being a fixed sequence that you learn, with lots of teacher help and many modifications according to your needs. When I first went I struggled to move without pain because of a bad fall on my neck; despite being barely able to bend at the waist while others had their legs behind their necks, I have never been made to feel out-of-place, and Scott Johnson has patiently and skilfully got me moving completely freely again. He’s also thought-provoking on breathing, yoga philosophy and chanting. It’s a terrific place to practice yoga, with the bonus of Borough, Bermondsey and the City right at hand once you’re finished.

I came here as a complete beginner and Scott, Lee and Mercedes taught me everything I know. They're the most gentle, knowledgable and encouraging teachers and I always felt super safe and comfortable. They quickly became like friends :) The yoga studio is beautiful and spacious, they have amazing quality equipment to use if you don't have your own. Highly highly recommend coming here for Ashtanga, whether you're a beginner or a pro!

I've only recently started practicing with Stillpoint Yoga online and everyone - both students and teachers alike - has been so welcoming and friendly. Scott is a great teacher, and his verbal adjustments are spot on, even though he's never met me in person and I practice with quite a few injuries. Best of all: I feel part of a yoga community which has really invigorated my practice.
