GoogleMindful Harlem is one of the loveliest mediation studios I have found in NYC. The space is beautiful, and the environment is always welcoming and relaxed. The meditation style offers a good range- guided sitting, walking, body scans, sometimes yoga. There's even a lending library! So happy to have this peaceful spot in the neighborhood.
I LOVE Mindful Harlem. I am new to NYC and with all the noise and chaos of the city (and noise and chaos in my head!) I needed to find a place to feel grounded and connected. Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings Mindful Harlem helps me do just that. I so appreciate Adrian and Jayne for creating this wonderful, affordable space where I can be at peace in a supportive community. Thank you.
A little piece of inner peace in Harlem. An amazing space & place full of serenity creating a welcoming environment for levels of guided meditation. There is a real sense of community & the process. It's also donation based so there is even less of a barrier to tapping in to your inner self for two hours on a saturday morning. This is definitely worth checking out and spending some quality time for you own mental health and well being.
A lovely space to practice mindfulness. Highly recommend their Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course which offers CE credit for social workers (possible other professions as well)
I have found my new home grateful for the space the founders and the healing........
