A haven of peace in busy London. Great environment to learn how to tame your mind with experienced teachers and practitioners. Warm, open atmosphere where everyone seems to be welcome! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn how to meditate. and the buffet on weekend classes is heavenly :)
I attended this centre regularly for 6 years, I am no longer in London but I am still in touch with many of the members. I found the place to be a constant source of calm and inspiration and the community to be really welcoming, warm and sincere. I would heartily recommend the classes to everyone. I am certainly a happier, more peaceful and more grounded person as a result of the teachings I experienced there.
Wow what a fantastic temple. Large and spacious with at it's centre piece an eight foot tall modern statue of Buddha that radiates blessings and inspiration. Lots of meditation classes and teachings on Buddhist Philosophy really clarify the essence of spiritual practise, eliminating confusion. Welcoming staff and teachers that are really receptive to everyone from all backgrounds.
I have attended the centre once, and I liked how it was inside. The bookstore was nice, and the people around made it feel warm. I felt quite at home here. I was going to say that if they had a temple, it would have been better, but 'now', i hear they have a temple. I haven't been inside the temple, because I went to the Wimbledon one. So, instead of 4.5, i must give them the full 5 for having a temple. Impressive.
