I’ve been attending Johnananda Yoga for 3 years and this is the most consistent I’ve ever been at a yoga class. The classes are suitable for all abilities and variations always offered. I’ve noticed greater flexibility and strength by being consistent. Everyone is friendly and working at their own pace. Genuinely look forward to Saturday mornings. Thank you!

For the past two years, I have regularly attended John's Thursday evening classes in Morden. His passion for teaching yoga inspires me to keep practising in order to develop my strength and flexibility to their full potentials. The stretching involved is a wonderful antidote to my dancing and walking activities. I particularly like the way that John structures each class so that we work through a series of stretches and poses which build towards trying a seriously challenging pose at the end of the class, before our relaxation time. Through offering explanations, demonstrations and adaptations for each activity, John's teaching is inclusive. He is also very encouraging! I thoroughly enjoyed taking part in John's recent yoga retreat at Bore Place in Kent. It was a great way to do lots of yoga and to get to know others who attend his classes. The setting was perfect and the weather beautiful. We were even able to do some classes outside. A first for me!

John provides classes that are for all ages and abilities. He's created a warm environment to be able to self improve and not compare yourself to others in the class. I attended John first yoga retreat at Bore Place in May 24 and it was fantastic. A Really relaxing weekend, with varied yoga classes and the chance to improve on technique and learn about mediative breathing. Highly recommend!

Having attended John’s yoga classes for almost a year, I have noticed how much strength and flexibility I have gained. I struggled to do poses like downward dog and boat when I started, but through practice and resilience I’m now able to hold them for at least 30 seconds without difficulty. John always explains how to do each pose very clearly and caters to all abilities so everyone can excel at their own pace. Every week John has a different focus for each class, for example back bending or working your core, which I love as you’re always exercising different parts of your body. I always feel calm and collected when leaving John’s classes so I would recommend to anyone that wants this feeling after a busy day!
