Illuminate Retreats

The Bangladesh retreat was amazing. Got to explore Dhaka, Sylhet and Coxs Bazar. The guides are very knowledgeable about landmarks, food, shopping, local history and etiquette. They were very friendly and helpful, and ensured our trip was safe and enjoyable.

I went on the Bangladesh Uncovered retreat in November and had a wonderful time. The Illuminate team organised accomodation, transport between cities and the itinerary of activities so I didn't have to think for 10 days. Their choice of accommodation was perfection and I was able to stay in two stunning resorts in Cox's Bazar and Sylhet and a lovely apartment in Dhaka. Two meals per day was also provided. The illuminate team are very warm, kind and helpful people who made me feel safe all the time and ensured I had a good time and always went the extra mile. Mostly though I loved the people on the tour, such a caring, generous and kind group. Illuminate brought together a lovely group of luminees.

Out of the city, from all the hustle and bustle SILENCE & THE SOUL by Illuminate Retreats did an amazing job organizing yoga at Shuktara Nature Retreat. As it’s near the nature with all the silence and peace I felt rejuvenated. This was my first time yoga retreat and the organizers went beyond my expectations.And kudos to the organizers, they are really incredible and very passionate people. The food, the service, the hiking was so amazing and also the tour at lalakhal was breathtaking The retreat was very budget friendly which really attracted me and of course learning yoga from Yoga Anika is just cherry on top. 10/10 100% recommended. Looking forward for next retreat 🧘🏾‍♀️🌸🌙🖤

I’m a complete yoga novice and had always seen the Illuminate Retreats advertised but was unsure whether it would be suitable for me. However, I took a chance and managed to make the one in Ragusa, Sicily 25-28 May 2023 and I had THE most fantastic time ever. The villa was absolutely stunning, 5* (for once the photos on a website are actually true to the reality!), the other ladies were a breath of fresh air and Giulia, the yoga coach was just wonderful. I can’t rate this experience highly enough. Delicious healthy food was cooked for us and the fabulous Illuminate team were on hand to deal with any queries/issues. It was amazing value for money considering the extra workshops which were included as well as the yoga sessions and I’ve returned home completely refreshed and reinvigorated. I didn’t take part in every yoga session (instead opting to lounge by the pool reading or having a nap ;) and there was no pressure or issue with this- it was a completely relaxed vibe at all times. I am determined to take up yoga now just so I plan my next trip to another retreat in a different location and take part in all of the sessions. What a phenomenal experience and a memorable first yoga session for me.

Spanish sisterhood retreat was the most relaxing and fun retreat i have ever been to! It was my second experience with illuminate and with Noreen being the yoga teacher The villa in Benahavis was perfect with lots of amenities and the group was amazing with women from all walks of life it was lots of fun and laughter as well as some good yoga to start off the day always ! Only thing I would comment on was the management of the trip could have been better lead by someone more familiar with the area and with the general organisation of the trip. Other than that, I would say the 4 night retreat was value for money, including the in-house chef and the great location! Keep up the good work, illuminate retreat team :)
