I had a truly beautiful experience at Hacienda del Sol. From the moment I arrived, I felt a deep sense of peace and safety. The property itself is magical, quiet, and deeply connected to nature. It truly feels like a sanctuary and a place to step away from the noise of the world and find yourself again. A very special thank you to Andrea, who is in charge of guest experiences. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and kind from start to finish. Her presence alone made the experience feel welcoming and supported, and she genuinely cares about the well-being of each guest. The healers and teachers were all exceptional. Every session felt intentional, grounded, and meaningful. You can feel the depth, experience, and heart that each of them brings to their work. I left feeling not only relaxed, but also clearer, lighter, and more connected to myself. The kitchen staff also deserves so much appreciation. They were wonderful, kind, and incredibly accommodating. The food was delicious, nourishing, and clearly prepared with care. It added so much to the overall healing experience. This was not just a retreat, it was a true reset for the mind, body, and spirit. Everything about Hacienda del Sol encourages rest, reflection, and realignment. I am deeply grateful for my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone

I spent 5 days at Hacienda del Sol Sep 2025, and it was truly magical! The grounds, rooms, and yoga shala are beautiful. The pool, sauna and cold plunge area was a huge plus as well. The food was so healthy and fresh, probably the healthiest I have ever eaten in my life and it was a breeze thanks to the amazing culinary staff. If you love yoga retreats, getting to meet other like minded solo travelers, this place is for you! I can’t wait to come back 🌴🩷☮️

My daughter and I recently stayed at Hacienda Del Sol and it was magical! The bungalows were clean and comfortable and opened up to the jungle and sounds of the rain forest. I can’t say enough amazing things about the staff, from the greeter Andrea, the beautiful kitchen staff, (Dee, Victor, Nelson, Sergio) the housekeepers and security, (thanks JJ) everyone made us feel like a priority. The massage therapists and yoga instructors were incredible. Everything about HDS is setup to calm your nervous system and make you feel safe and supported. I wish I could’ve stayed much much longer…. I miss the beauty of it all!

My husband and I were looking for a wellness retreat in Costa Rica where we could disconnect and focus on our wellbeing. Hacienda del Sol did not disappoint. The property is absolutely beautiful. Most mornings we were greeted by the sounds of howler monkeys and birds. We purposefully chose to go during rainy season when the jungle is lush, and the resort is less busy. The package we chose was for 7 nights and included 7 treatments (massage, body scrub, etc). I understand this resort is well known for its cleanse offerings. Each day there are group activities like meditation and yoga. The resort also has a pool, hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge. You can pick and choose which you attend, and how social you’d like to be. We met some wonderful people who were there on their own wellness journey during our stay. Although I acknowledge all of these amenities are nice, what really made the trip special was the staff. From the front desk to the kitchen where amazing (and healthy) food is made, to the healers, EVERYONE is PHENOMENAL. All are friendly and helpful and it is easy to see why there are so many who make this resort an annual destination.
