I checked the dynamic flow class with linnea on Tuesday at 7 PM. We introduced ourselves and shared where our heart, mind and body are that day. It was a nice icebreaker to get to know everyone. The class was not too intense but definitely strength exercises, breathing, and typical yoga moves. A great balance of everything. I haven’t been to a yoga class in a couple years and I wasn’t struggling. When you enter your right in the studio itself. Mats and anything you’ll need is provided. I didn’t use the bathroom, but I presume they have one. I’m not sure if I saw a water fountain so I would suggest bringing your own water bottle in case.

I started coming regularly about 6 months ago and I think it’s changed my life. My plantar fasciitis is gone! After trying everything. I think maybe my feet were just weak. They provide props and mats and there’s water cups so i could show up empty handed which is awesome. They just launched an app and it’s super easy to use too. I love the open level classes. Brian (who moved away sadly) got me hooked on em. Those are open to all and the teachers are more likely to offer variations in poses for different skill levels. I like that open level is often a mix of types of practice. Every teacher has a different vibe, all good ones, and I appreciate the variety. Every one I’ve met has been down to chat yoga and other health/fitness goals before or after classes. After 6 months i finally took a beginners workshop with Anna and i highly recommend it if you’re curious but concerned about injuries or doing the poses correctly. I think those beginner workshops are suggested donation.

I quite like this yoga studio. You walk directly into the room you’ll be practicing in, with carpets for wet boots plus cubbies, and hangers for your things. Simple and sweet little space, all teachers I’ve met here (and at the Ridgewood location) are very nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend to all

I’ve been coming to this studio since 2019, when it was on Jefferson Street! It’s always such a pleasure to practice at Daya. I learn something new in every class I take. I feel like I’m apart of a community when I’m there. This location is small but they have so much to offer. Classes, workshops, trainings and more!

I found Daya two years ago and it was like coming home. Two expansive rooms -- one filled with light and plants, the other cosy and deep like a cave -- both with amazing acoustics and such beautiful energy! I especially love their Kundalini classes and the variety workshops every weekend! Definitely recommend stopping by for a class, you won't want to leave ;)
