GoogleFirst of all, I have never worked with someone who knew and used so many modalities. Suzi adamantly cares that her students leave the session with her feeling better than when they came. She works with what your body needs when you come to her, not some fixed template. My body has never gotten more flexible or more strong week to week doing any other form of exercise like yoga, or reformer pilates. The physical therapy techniques she utilizes, I have never seen anywhere else. Suzi is a supreme researcher for keeping up with her practice and continually making it better for students. She repeatedly points out my progress, telling me I could never have done certain exercises like I was currently doing when I first came to her. If you want to improve your body in ways you could never image before, RUN to her.
Working with Suzi was the first time I tried Yoga. After my first session with Suzi I have to say I loved Yoga and she is a fantastic teacher. I've trained with weights for several years but this is a whole new ballgame. After one session I am walking straighter and I feel wonderful. I cannot say enough great things about how Suzi approaches teaching Yoga. She introduced me to exercises that I need to do to decrease my back pain and they work!! Training with her is like learning Karate with a Master. This is such a new and wonderful experience for me and if you are even thinking about trying Yoga, Suzi is the one to work with. She is a master teacher. I love every minute I work with her.
I’m so grateful to have found Suzi for private yoga lessons—she is truly exceptional. Suzi brings the perfect balance of teaching technique while explaining the science and logic behind each movement, which makes everything feel purposeful and manageable. What sets her apart is how she tailors each session to meet you where you are, physically and mentally, in that moment. Suzi has a unique gift for reading people and adapting her teaching style to support your individual needs and goals. She really listens, creates a space where you feel completely at ease, and still manages to gently correct and challenge you in all the right ways. I’ve learned so much from her and continue to grow with every session. There’s a natural ease and familiarity in every session that allows me to let go, relax, and not be so hard on myself—something that doesn’t come easily for me! Suzi always helps me find the lightness and even the laughter in the practice, which has been just as valuable as the physical benefits. I can’t recommend her enough.
Suzi has been doing myo fascia release work on my shoulders for the past 8 months. She is a gifted practitioner using science based knowledge, her own experience, intuition and compassion to create a healing experience. My shoulders move freer and are in less pain. She generously shares her knowledge. All in all highly recommended.
I'm almost hesitant to share this review because I don't want to share Suzi! It's rare to find an expert in holistic health, combining yoga, kinesiology, and myofascial release. She is able to do this because of her extensive study of anatomy and movement over the years. She's truly an expert in movement and the connectedness of the human body. The sessions are fun, challenging, and just make you better (physically, emotionally, and mentally). The world would be a better place if there were more people like Suzi. And we'd all feel better! I feel very lucky to have found her.
