Posting this review to show my appreciation to the Sunce Yoga studio, to Tina and her craft of yoga instruction. I started out as a beginner and she was there every step of the way in guiding me through every step of the routine. I have grown more comfortable with the movements after each session. She is open to teaching anyone at any skill level and makes beginners very comfortable at doing yoga. I recommend this studio and Tina to anyone looking to start practicing yoga or if you are a seasoned yoga practitioner looking for a switch.
I had an incredible myofascial release session with Tina Joy to support my healing journey with fibroids, and it was truly transformative. The space had such a peaceful ambiance—dim lighting, soft music, and a calm energy that immediately put me at ease. Tina guided me through gentle stretches to help open my body, and she even incorporated sound healing, which made the experience feel even more nurturing. One of the highlights was when she massaged a healing balm into my neck and back—it was so soothing and really helped relieve tension in my muscles and joints. Tina was incredibly attentive, supportive, and genuinely cared about my concerns. She helped guide me through the movements with such patience and care. I left feeling lighter, more open, and deeply relaxed. I would absolutely go back!
Tina Joy has a wonderful practice! She’s curated the perfect yoga routine for relaxing tense muscles. I felt so rejuvenated after our session. Highly recommend for anyone who loves yoga or wants to give it a try. Tina is super welcoming and kind. She was also really helpful, patient and encouraging when guiding you through new poses.
The Yoga Nutritionist is a phenomenal instructor with curated sequences & classes catered to each individual. During her yoga in Central Park series over the summertime I really enjoyed the fun classes under the shade. Getting grounded with nature while unwinding & tuning into your body is a beautiful way to kick off your Sunday. Tina’s pleasant demeanor always had students circling around her to share their positive experience after class. It was a true joy learning the opening of Sunce Yoga Studio would come in the following months. Now that her studio is open & thriving for well over a year it’s proven to be an immersive oasis for my time on the mat. Coupled with sound bath classes, meditation, nutrition consultations & one on one yoga flows the studio is a force to be reckoned with! Any time I have a free moment I love to join in on a class or book a one on one session. I’ve been a part of many yoga studios & classes over the last decade & Sunce Yoga is by far my favorite experience! After my class I feel like I just came back from vacation & I’m able to take on the rest of my day stress free & productive at the same time. The best part is she customizes the sessions based on every individual so she meets you where you’re at & you truly see growth in the classes to follow. If I’m feeling a bit tense, I know I’m just one class away from being back on track to feeling my best with this studio! I feel right at home. Leave it to Tina to push you to your greatest self & on the path to pure positivity. It doesn’t even feel like a task staying consistent with my fitness goals, it’s more like a treat that I look forward to each & every time!
