Absolutely wonderful! Stunning views from the private belconny, great fit-out with state-of-the-art bathroom and high tech for every comfort. Great bed, comfortable couch and even an fireplace in our room! Loved the personalised check-in in the room- this made it really special. Enjoyed a guided winetasting and a nature walk with local guide the next morning. Wonderful breakfast and the 7-course degustation dinner with accompanying wines at Hardy's Verandah was simply unforgettable. Thank you for a beautiful time & new memories made!

I asked ChatGPT to recommend a truly special hotel for Australian winter with a hot spring experience :) and it led me to Sequoia. Honestly, the experience we had was even more beautiful than the photos we saw beforehand. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of a kind, friendly community. Our journey began with the mixology class, followed by a rejuvenating treatment at Gatekeeper Spa, and then a relaxing soak in the artesian hot springs. In the evening, we dined at Hardy’s Verandah a beautiful food experience to wrap up the day. The next morning, we woke up to the breathtaking views of the Adelaide Hills. After a peaceful yoga session and a delicious breakfast, we went for a morning bushwalk the perfect way to end an unforgettable stay. Sequoia is truly a place where luxury, nature, and heartfelt hospitality come together beautifully. Highly recommended.

You can see why this venue has won so many awards! The beauty is astounding. Well kept rooms that are regularly maintained, a great selection of activities for all ages, the hot spring pools are wonderful on the cold days, and the service is beyond phenomenonal. Lauren went above and beyond for our entire stay and we could not fault the entire experience. We cannot wait to return!

I have never in my life, after a lot of travelling, had a better stay. Service amazing, scenery amazing, amenities amazing, food at the 3-hat awarded Hardy's Verandah restaurant with the degustation menu absolutely outstanding. It's not an every day or a cheap experience, but something highly recommended if you're able to.

This place is serene. We had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay at Sequoia and did not want to leave. The rooms are spacious and luxurious with extraordinary views. It was so quiet, which is what we were after. The staff were amazing and the food was great. We also enjoyed many of the activities on offer at the lodge. We would love to come back soon.
