I’ve been doing the 2-person reformer Pilates sessions at Power House Pilates, and it has quickly become one of my favorite local spots. With a maximum of two people per class, the workouts are incredibly attentive and personalized. I really appreciate the consistency of the sessions and impeccable studio. Every class feels thoughtfully structured. My absolute favorite part is the foam roller stretches, which strike the perfect balance between core strength and mobility work. I’ve noticed huge benefits, especially in stress relief and flexibility. The studio has a very supportive, social vibe, and getting to know Morwen has made it feel like a true neighborhood gem. Huge appreciation for Morwen, the owner and sole instructor, she makes every session exceptional. Highly recommend Power House Pilates if you want a personal, effective, and genuinely enjoyable Pilates experience.

Powerhouse is the best pilates studio in JC and Morwen is an amazing teacher. She really knows how to teach and understands verbal and physical instruction so well. She always check in and asks before she gives adjustments or helps you stretch. She is top notch! The studio is bright and clean and has a great calm vibe.

Love this Pilates studio and working out with Morwen! She is very knowledgeable and knows how to customize workouts based on how your body is feeling. I always leave our sessions feeling like I grew inches taller and my pain relieved. Morwen has an extensive catalog of workouts and stretches that it never feels boring. I love hanging upside down at the end of each session- highly recommend!

The best Pilates studio in downtown Jersey City! This studio is a hidden gem located in The Brunswick Center (formerly the Catholic Holy Rosary School) close to Hamilton Park in the Village area. You will always be working with one of the owners whether it's a private or mat class. Both owners are highly experienced in the traditional Pilates method and have had years of experience working with Manhattan's elite. Nothing has transformed my body like consistent Pilates training. The combination of stretching and strengthening offers a safe way to tone your body without injury. In fact, I learned from Morwen that Joseph Pilates invented Pilates training as a means for hospital patients (even the disabled) to work out!
