I’ve been going to privates with Vanessa for 12 months now and they are one of the highlights of my week. No session is the same as she tailors each session to your progress and how you are feeling in your body on the day. She pushes you to go beyond your comfort zone but in a good way. I love love love my sessions with her and you can really see the progress. If you want the individual attention that you get in a private than it’s a no brainier to sign up to perky Pilates.

Perky Pilates is without a doubt the best pilates studio I've been to. I did the 121 sessions with Vanessa when my back was in really bad shape after having my second child and after just six sessions on the reformer, my back was sorted and my core has never been stronger. I now go back to her any time I feel my core needs some tuning up and folllow her videos on Insta when I'm away. Vanessa is such an engaging and warm person, she takes you as you are and becomes your best cheerleader. She is excellent on pilates form and has great kit, and because she is also a qualified physio (rare for pilates instructors) she understands the drivers of my sciatica and can target the right muscles and movements to get me strong whilst understanding my limits too. Her studio is convenient, gorgeous and a Perky place to get your energy from! I'd recommend her to anyone (and definitely check out her videos on Instagram for when you're away!).

I've been attending the pilates group classes for over 6 months now and I am really enjoying them and feeling the results. Vanessa is approachable, genuine and fun, giving the session a great atmosphere. Her background as a physiotherapist makes it all also incredibly reassuring. The exercises are well-designed, very diverse, with lots of props and change every session, for a complete, well-rounded body work-out, with lots of laughs.
