Paul Aurand - Holistic Healing Center

Working with Paul over the past six or seven years, both as a client and as a student, has been deeply transformative. His presence, skill, and integrity have challenged me, supported me, and helped me grow in ways that continue to shape my life and my work. I highly recommend working with him for both.

I attended Paul’s trainings in Fall of 2023 over Zoom. Paul and Sophia are each warm and welcoming, non-judgmental, humorous, patient, and offer a wealth of knowledge and wisdom. Paul’s style of teaching is easy to absorb as he conveys information in small increments, paired with examples. However, be prepared to take on heaps of information and experiences packed into a few days at a time; resources are provided so you can go back over everything as many times as you want and need going forward. Live online learning and hypnotherapy sessions can be just as impactful and effective as in-person learning (dare I say more so as you get to participate from the comfort of your own home and not deal with the stressors of travel). Assisted by a group of Paul’s former students, we each were divided out into breakout rooms to practice, and were guided and evaluated by the assistants, then offered suggestions for areas to grow, while Paul and Sophia (or one of Paul’s training interns) went from room to room to observe and offer their own support. I felt safe to share with assistants how they could better support me. I still interact weekly and/or bi-weekly with peers I bonded with during and after the trainings, and I know others who are doing the same. Paul and Sophia offered a mentoring group after the trainings and I encourage you to participate. It was informative, helpful in transitioning while building your own hypnotherapy engagement and practice, and created opportunities to have questions answered and receive guidance. What I love most about Paul’s training is that he recognizes we are each individuals being called to do this work for a reason, and he encourages us to be creative and discover our own way of facilitating while using the healthy and helpful tools he does his best to instill within us. If I could go back and make the decision over about who I would train with for this profession, I would choose Paul as my teacher again, without hesitation.

I recently completed Paul's training and feel compelled to share my profound gratitude and appreciation. When I enrolled, I sought a missing piece in my practice, and Paul's course delivered beyond expectations. The curriculum provided a robust foundation in hypnotherapy fundamentals, enriching my skills and introducing advanced techniques in transpersonal hypnosis, parts therapy, and past life regression. The Essential Healing process, a pivotal part of the training, has significantly enhanced my sessions. Paul's methodical teaching and the supportive environment fostered immense growth in me as a practitioner. His wisdom, coupled with the assistants' guidance, was invaluable. The course was an enlightening journey, equipping me with skills and insights that will benefit my clients for years. I'm excited to continue this learning journey and apply these transformative techniques in my practice. A heartfelt thank you to Paul and the team for this life-changing experience.

Paul is a phenomenal hypnotherapist and hypnotherapy instructor. I have had the pleasure learning from him several times now and continue to return because his skills and expertise are top notch. He is deeply caring about his clients and has a strong ability to be fluid in his guidance, knowing what techniques will best match each client, helping them to gain insight, depth and healing from their sessions. Paul Aurand is an excellent educator as well as a highly experienced therapist. As a Clinical Psychologist I met Paul in 2008 in a Clinical Hypnosis Course he gave in Lisbon. This course changed my life and my practice and subsequently I had the privilege to continue learning with a Master and Specialist in the field of Hypnotherapy and Regression Therapy. In his trainings, Paul shares his 35 years of experience as a healer, hypnotherapist and counselor. As a dynamic educator and trainer he captivates his audience with his charisma and unique qualities which inspire his students to want to learn more and be better therapists. Paul’s passion for hypnosis has inspired me to become a better therapist and help my patients at a much deeper level. His courses have an emphasis on the practical experience of hypnosis and the exercises carried out at during his classes are very helpful and important in instilling a sense of personal confidence and understanding of the process of hypnosis. There is an excellent mix of practical and theory and a very important feedback session given by Paul after all the group exercises. Paul’s work touches you at a very profound level! The insights I have learnt from Paul have been invaluable in my career and personal process.
