I completed my Pre & Post Natal Yoga training from Om Yoga International, and it was a wonderful learning journey. Mrs. Ruchika Ma’am is an exceptional mentor. Her guidance is clear, practical, and filled with compassion. She explains theory and Mrs. Shweta ma'am teaches practice in a very systematic way, and Dr. Anu (Grabhasamkhar ) special teaching is very nice with their special attention to safety, confidence, and understanding. Here constant support and encouragement made the course truly meaningful. I am very thankful for Mrs Ruchika ma'am guidance and highly recommend Om Yoga International for Pre & Post Natal Yoga training.

I recently completed face yoga classes, and it was truly an amazing experience. I genuinely loved every session—each class was calming, healing and full of knowledge. I learned techniques that not only improved muscle tone and relaxation, but also helped me connect better with my body and emotions. The way you teach—with clarity, patience, and personal attention—makes such a big difference. Every correction, every explanation, and every variation was so helpful. I now feel more confident in my practice, my skin feels more alive, and I’ve actually noticed changes in my face and posture. Thank you so much for creating such a positive and nurturing learning space. I’m grateful I got the chance to learn from you. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to truly understand face yoga and experience real transformation ✨🌷

Long post alert... this review details my experience at Rishikesh, and my learnings at Om Yoga International. My primary aims were to muster a teacher training certificate, learn yoga anatomy, cleansing techniques, and yoga philosophy... my exploratory conversations with Ruchika ji and Radhika Sharan ji quickly gave me both the comfort and confidence to pursue the 500 hour TTC. First things first... the Tapovan area immediately captivates your attention... The centre itself is just a 2 minute walk from the historical Laxman Jhula across Gangaji. The bazaars on both banks are popular tourist attractions, and access to life is easy... daily essentials, scenic pathways, street food stalls, cafes, rafting and bungee, motorcycle rentals... Name it and you stumble upon it! I was able to wiggle some time out from the demanding course schedule during my first 20 days for explorations while observing safety protocols... And then the lockdown happened! I was welcomed at the center by Pooja ji and Sitaram ji... Both of them are instructors and managers at the center. They were empathetic, courteous, and efficient (and remained so through the length of my stay), and helped me ease into the center quickly. I was served a delicious saatvik meal for lunch... And was told that all meals are saatvik (so as to complement the practice of Yoga). Rishikesh itself is a vegetarian town. The course covered: Asanas: 1. traditional Hatha Yoga... a big shout out to Guru Amit ji for reinforcing my love for this style... Strength, flexibility, agility, energy... His classes motivates you to reach beyond physical limits! 2. asanas from the Hatha Yoga Pradipika. 3. The core and strength focused Ashtanga Vinyasa, and 4. Alignment - to help teachers learn to correct students Pranayama & meditation: 45 minutes each day... Guru Shri. Radhika Sharan ji's soothing instructions will stay with you through life! 6 to 7 types of pranayama each day, followed by some chakra focused meditation... I am yet to feel comfortable with the meditation... Things got better towards the second month of my stay... Yoga anatomy: I'm happy I did this course... Lectures by Guru Smt. Ruchika Sharan ji took us through all relevant aspects of the respiratory, digestive, nervous, and skeletal systems. We also had scholarly video sessions by competent doctors to help understand deeper. Each system was explained alongside the role of asanas, pranayama, and shatkarma. Shatkarma: I was always curious if I could handle this... A big shout out to Gurus Pooja ji and Sitaram ji... They guided the practice effectively. I was surprised at how easy Jal Neti was... And was beyond myself when I was successful with the Sutr neti... (Sending a rubber catheter through the nostril and taking it out through the mouth)... Shankh Prakshalan got me feeling much lighter... Though the thought of just kichdi for the entire day demotivated the foodie in me from repeating it 😁 Philosophy: Ruchika ji took us through the vastness of Patanjali's Yog Darshan... An essential primer for all practitioners to understand the purpose of yoga... And life! Penning this back in Chennai, I realize that the 2 months flew by in a blitz, leaving me with profound learnings and memories! Dipping in The Holy Ganga, the early morning runs through the hills, the lovable company of cows and dogs, and many new friends... I look forward to going back for more! Lookin forward to putting to good use, the Yoga learnings from Om Yoga International!
