GoogleI truly love some of the instructors here—they are absolutely incredible! However, I’ve been disappointed lately by the frequent opening of the studio doors during hot sessions. This let-up in heat disrupts the 'ushna' (internal heat) and the therapeutic benefits of the practice. On a recent visit, the room became so cool that I decided to leave early, but I was told by the front desk that students are required to stay until the end. While I understand the studio has policies, I’d love to see more consistency in maintaining the heat so that the practice remains effective and students feel comfortable staying.
Love this place. Staff is always so friendly. Yoga rooms are clean and don’t smell humid or funky. Men’s bathrooms are big and clean with private showers. Get there at least 15min early because parking can be challenging during rush hour times.
I love this studio! I’ve been coming for a few years, and I love how sweaty and challenging the classes get. There are offerings for all levels, and the teachers and staff are excellent, friendly and genuinely lovely. Parking can be tricky during peak times, so plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. Staggered class times would help, but it’s usually manageable. My only real downside: someone stole my brand new Birkenstocks recently while I was in class and left their old, dirty shoes at the front of the studio. It was quite shocking, especially considering how much Modo promotes community. I had to walk to my car barefoot—pretty embarrassing! So, please be mindful about what shoes you leave there.
Mollie made me feel safe and encouraged to bring myself to the room. It was my first class in three years after divorcing the practice (at least I thought I had). But that’s a whole nother story. So grateful to you Mollie. -eddy
