For me, learning to meditate with Jill was a very worthwhile experience. It turned out to be simpler than I anticipated and I found it relatively easy to settle into the process , which was I believe facilitated by being in a group of novice meditators. I came away feeling positive and more optimistic.Since completing the course (3 weeks or so ago) Ive maintained twice daily meditation ( with only 2 exceptions) I still find it helpful.The early meditation seems to make me focus on the upcoming day , and while the degree to which I can relax into meditation can vary ( especially if I feel excited , or preoccupied about something—which is infrequent) the overall feeling is of continuing benefit and im keen to see the effects in the medium term .Id certainly recommend the course i went on in London

I've always wanted to meditate but never quite been able to bring it into my life until I did this meditation course at the beginning of August. I have since meditated every morning and most afternoons - it has become a normal part of my life and I feel the benefit for sure. It is not that life has drastically changed but that I am perhaps dealing with it better - I love a quote from Jillian's book - (along the lines of) its not about getting better at meditation but getting better at life. I think this sums it up beautifully. I would recommend the course for sure - it clears up any confusion or misconceptions about meditation for example you need a quiet room with candles or to eliminate all thoughts from your head! I've since meditated on the bus, train and in the park!
