I was lucky enough to spend a full day with Susie. Having already experienced her group breathwork sessions, I knew she was the right person to trust with deeper work. From the moment we started chatting, insights began to come through and the day flowed really naturally. I felt safe and held throughout. The breathwork was gentle which meant I was never overwhelmed, and our walk in the woods was a lovely way to break up the day and ground for the afternoon. One of the really valuable reflections from our conversations was realising that I had been so focused on the end goal when actually there are things I need to do first to bring myself into alignment. Something I hadn’t considered and a big shift in perspective. Since the day I have been journaling and planning how I can take what I have learned forward. Susie encouraged this and gave me some tasks to support the integration. If you spend a day with her, I would really recommend bringing a journal because so much comes up that you will want to capture. We have arranged a follow up in a couple of weeks. As a therapist, I believe this is a really valuable practice, as once we start to integrate what came up on the day new things can surface. It also brings a sense of accountability and helps make sure that we don’t lose our learning amongst the busyness of life! Thank you Susie for creating a supportive, non judgmental and insightful space of self-exploration.
