Excellent Pilates Class for Seniors! I’ve been attending Pilates classes designed for older adults, and I can’t recommend them enough! Started at Go Slo Studio in the hope to assist with post surgery knee recovery & slow the groans of my aging body. It’s been a journey, not only am I so much stronger but also so much more aware of my body, the way it moves and more attune to listening to how it feels. This isn’t HIIT on a reformer like Pilates has become known as. It’s a studio that each individual works to their own program with close guidance from knowledgeable, friendly and intuitive instructors, it’s amazing what one little tweak to your positioning can do for a move and your body. Jess and the team at Go Slo are serious the best! This place is not like other studios. You will still work hard, get fit or use it manage an injury but because the program is tailored it can suit anyone - age, body type and also if you're pregnant. I have felt super supported and the personalised approach means you're part of a community rather than just showing up for class and leaving. Everyone knows your name and they truly care about you and helping you to meet you goals.
