GoogleOver the past few years, I’ve completed the Certificate in Meditation and Mindfulness Teaching, several electives, and most recently the Diploma in Meditation Teaching with Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness with Lisa. All of the courses beautifully balance science, traditional wisdom, and practical teaching skills. I felt well supported throughout and was encouraged to develop my own authentic voice as a teacher. The mentors are knowledgeable, grounded, and genuinely care about their students’ growth. I graduated feeling confident, well prepared, and deeply grateful. What I especially value is the ongoing support after graduating. I continue to receive mentoring when needed, which has been incredibly helpful in growing and navigating my wellness business. I highly recommend ACMM to anyone wanting professional, heart-centred meditation teacher training 💛✨️
Studying with ACMM provided me with a wonderful opportunity to enhance my meditation practice, establish a consistent routine, and acquire the skills to guide various meditation and Mindfulness techniques. I am incredibly pleased with my journey to becoming a meditation and mindfulness teacher. I sincerely recommend studying with ACMM!
It's being a really wonderful experience to learn meditation teaching with ACMM, both in regards to the structure, training materials and personal development. And of course the amazing mentors and teachers and how everything is brought together. Thank you so much :-)
I completed my Advanced Certificate with the Australian Centre for Meditation and Mindfulness, and it has been a truly life-changing experience. The teachers are incredibly supportive, grounded, and knowledgeable — you feel genuinely held every step of the way. Since graduating, I’ve opened my own little studio and the confidence, clarity, and skills I gained through the training have been invaluable. What stands out most is the ongoing support — from business mentoring to regular events and live meditations, ACMM doesn’t just train you and leave you; they continue to walk alongside you. If you’re looking for a heartfelt, professional, and deeply enriching path into meditation teaching, I honestly can’t recommend them enough.
Whether you seek to delve into courses that invite personal development, accreditation or simply find a safeguarded community to casually meditate with, the school offers a place to learn from teachers who walk the walk. After researching different schools to commit to my meditation teaching accreditation, I was drawn to certain aspects of ACMM's communications: 1. their respectful acknowledgement of First Nations' continual connection to land and culture 2. their welcoming of diversity in students and teachers 3. their capacity to create safe and maningful discussions 4. their demonstrated integrity and ethics through the tender awareness & prioritisation of mental health and safety protocols 5. their consistent efforts to offer free community meditations that speak to the issues of the day, rather than to toxic positivity 6. their proactive inclusion of LGBTQIA+ and minority groups to feel safe and welcomed 7. the depth of their coursework to include the origins of meditation throughout the world, with nuanced awareness of Asia (not a monolith), and historical context The advanced certificate is an immersive and thorough training through one-on-one coaching and robust course work that invites deep reflections on one's own integrity and capacity for teaching meditation. It requires time, self-awareness, accountability and commitment. And a mentor/ coach is with you the whole way. Through their digital platforms, I've found an accessible and supportive network of teachers and students, resources for study, practical advice for business. All questions are welcomed. Through my 2+ years studying at this school, I believe it stays grounded in their intention to do no harm and to help ALL others through continual reviews of current research and best practice for accountability, cultural safety, effectiveness and promoting practical accessible mindfulness and meditation modalities. Their teachers are themselves leading by example - always seeking ways to improve, and to learn. And it is with this sacred humility and intentional compassion that the students, clients and community are cared for with wise and empathetic counsel. I am grateful to have received my accreditation through the ACMM. Thank you to all my teachers and fellow students. May we share more ways to connect to our humanity and each other. May we all be safe, healthy and belong.
