A line is a best in class studio and I’ve tried a bunch of Pilates studios in both NYC and LA. The attention to detail and inspired instruction doesn’t compare to anywhere else. Carey, the owner, has invested in the most classical legit Pilates reformers, towers, chairs and ladder barrels. Nothing out of the box and plastic here. There’s even a Cadillac in the back for privates. If you value precise instruction, classical equipment and want to do it in a gorgeous brownstone parlor this is the place for you!

Really love this studio with all my heart. I come to the studio 3-4x a week to help nurse a former collegiate injury. The studio is made up of extremely knowledgeable instructors. No matter what you’re working on (or dealing with injury wise) this group is able to modify all classical techniques to ensure you’re working hard but doing so safely. Super appreciative of the beautiful space that Carey the owner and staff have created. Be prepared to come back :)

I recently discovered Aline when a friend recommended the studio. The space is light-filled, airy, and beautiful. I have been taking privates with Kayla and it’s an amazing workout. She seriously challenges me while keeping it fun. Every class seems to have a real impact on my body. It’s worth it.

Carey is so knowledgeable, and always weaves new + fun variations into the classics - always with consideration for whatever my body is going through at the moment. Highly recommend Carey and her team to all movers!
