I joined right before Christmas, and have enjoyed the range of classes and each instructor. I love the Barre classes, all Pilates classes, it’s a great location, and nice aesthetics. Unfortunately they’ve had to close for longer than anticipated, for a move/renovation, but I’m so impressed by the communication and honesty of the owner/team, as it’s been most challenging for them. Can’t wait to get back into classes ❤️

I absolutely love this studio and the staff, everyone is so friendly, and the atmosphere is always welcoming and positive! It’s definitely one of my favourite Pilates places in Adelaide! As for the classes, it really depends on which instructor you get. Some sessions are more intense and challenging (which I love!), while others are more relaxed, so it’s a bit of a hit or miss if you’re looking for a strong workout every time. On the lighter days, I find it’s still great as a warm-up before heading to the gym. I absolutely love the barre classes! They’re such a fun and effective workout, I’d love to see them offered more often on the timetable. Big recommendation!

Aleenta Barre Glenelg is such a wonderful community! The instructors are all brilliant - they work so hard to make the variety of classes challenging, different each time and fun! They are all great at providing options and alternatives to suit the needs of participants and are adept at working with injuries. The one thing they all have in common is passion - it is obvious they all love what they do and it shows in the classes and the rapport they have with their clients. The time-table works so well for me - early morning 6am classes as well as evening classes during the week (oh there are some day-time options too but unfortunately I can never get to these) plus classes on the weekend. I love the mix of Barre, Pilates (both reformer and mat) and Yoga. I do a mix of all of them and personally, I love the variety. The location on the corner of Jetty Road and Waterloo is perfect - so central and right near the tram stop. Plenty of on-street parking available nearby too. I highly recommend Aleenta and I love being part of the community!

I've tried several of the barre classes as well as a yoga foundations class at Aleenta Barre in Glenelg and really enjoyed all of them. I had never done a barre class before, so I didn't know what to expect. However, I really enjoyed the challenge of the more demanding classes, such as Barre Burn and Barre Blend and found all the instructors very professional and welcoming. I also loved the Yoga Foundations class, which was a wonderful blend of stretching and relaxation. The small, intimate studio space in Glenelg suits me well and I would certainly recommend giving these classes a try.

I have loved attending Aleenta at Glenelg! It has been such an amazing experience and have thoroughly enjoyed intertwining my love of dance and ballet with a more cardio version. I have a tried a variety of classes and have enjoyed every single one of them. I also love all the teachers who encourage you along the way to always do your best and finish off the workout with a bang!
