
Stress management through yoga.

We not only teach yoga classes but have a special interest in stress management through yogic practices.
Through a sequenced process of physical relaxation we move inward to develop techniques to relieve stress. To relieve the physical and emotional effects of stress we need to develop a connection with these feelings and learn techniques to change our experience of these stress based symptoms.
As we all know, stress is damaging to both our physical and mental well-being. Stress can increase the occurence and severity of physical illness such as the common cold and can cause headaches, sleeplessness and eating problems.
Through a learned and practised process we can assist how we deal with stress and in turn decrease the effect of stress on our well-being.
