About

  • I have been a student of Hatha Yoga since 1995, developing and maintaining a daily personal practice since 1997. I have been strongly influenced by both the Iyengar & Ashtanga traditions, and place equal importance on both alignment & breath when I teach.

I commenced formal teacher training in 2003, under the mentorship of Kale Leaf of Fremantle Yoga Centre.

This training had a strong therapeutic ethos…… the practice of Yoga to enhance wellbeing and support the nervous system, learning how to modify asanas to enable problematic bodies into them…..how to teach yoga to anybody!

I have been teaching since 2003 and am inspired by the bodies that walk through my door & delight in the transformation I am privileged to witness.

I LOVE my yoga practice (asana, pranayama, kriya & mantra) and have experienced its powers of awakening. I have a strong sense that within our bodies lies our innate wisdom….all of our learning, knowing & healing resides there waiting for our discovery…

Yoga reveals us, in our entirety, bit by bit to ourselves and those around us.

I Bless the ancient yogis & yoginis, everyday, for their invaluable gift to anyone with a body.....an embodied invocation of the intelligence of the bodymind....... the true language of the soul.
