GoogleI've been fortunate to have Sarah in my orbit for both my first and second pregnancies, attending her prenatal yoga classes in both instances and finding them a wonderful support & preparation tool. Sarah is experienced, passionate & informative, a beautiful blend to support women navigating any pregnancy, labour & post partum. Sarah definitely goes above & beyond, kindly taking time to chat with me outside of yoga on questions/issues I experienced along the way. Many is the time I saw her stay back to chat with others, too! I would have absolutely engaged Sarah as our doula, however in both instances the stars just didn't align with timing. Based on what I know of Sarah & the quality of her prenatal yoga sessions & the informed discussions she led with our group, I have no hesitation in recommending her.
I attended prenatal yoga with Sarah throughout my pregnancy. I could not recommend these classes more to all women, no matter where or how they choose to birth. Sarah does an amazing job at providing short education sessions prior to the class that are non-bias & evidence based. Sarah creates a safe and supportive environment and encourages all women to listen to their body both during class and throughout their everyday life. Sarah encourages a strong connection with you and baby. The yoga is tailored for each woman no matter the gestation- Sarah always providing alternate poses. I am sad to have finished my prenatal classes. The classes are open to all women, even if they arenโt doula clients of Sarah. Thank you for all you do Sarah! ๐ค
I canโt recommend Sarahโs prenatal yoga classes enough! She is so welcoming, and the small private classes create such an intimate, supportive environment. Itโs been the perfect preparation for birth, both physically and mentally. A must-do for any mum-to-be!
I got in touch with Sarah after recommendations from Tara (Empowering Mothers, PPD) and Emma (Empowered Lactation). I was in a sticky spot navigating the private and public hospital systems, trying to plan for a more informed and positive birth, and postpartum experience. Just over one phone conversation and a few resources that she sent me, I already felt supported and ready to dig deeper and educate myself further. I wish I had met Sarah in my first pregnancy but I'm so grateful I got the opportunity to, this time around. For Sarah, being a doula and yoga instructor for mums is not just a job, she really cares about the women that she supports and advocates for, and this can be felt instantly upon speaking to her. Her yoga sessions as well as the pregnancy circle with Joanne Mackintosh have been a wonderful way to connect and learn during this special time. Highly recommend Sarah ๐.
I just want to say a very special thank you to Sarah. I never want to say that I couldnโt have done birthed without her, I know she would hate that, and I donโt want to give my power away, but my gosh, Sarah walked alongside me for the entire journey. She supported me to enter birth with knowledge, trust, and a deep absence of fear. From building my birth knowledge, to gently guiding me through my whys and wishes, to holding me through the most intense parts of labour. She walked me right up to the birth veil and encouraged me to move, stretch, and walk through it with confidence and trust. Sarah, thank you for gifting my husband, my beautiful baby boy and I the experience of a lifetime, and for supporting my bubs entrance into this world with such ease, calm, and care. We will forever be grateful.
