This retreat will meet you on a number of levels. If you are

– looking to deepen or begin your yoga practice

– contemplating where you want to go with your life

–  exploring ways to de-stress

– or simply taking some well earned time out….

….. this retreat is the ideal answer. Explore that essential balance between ease and effort through gentle asana practice, guided relaxation and meditation with an emphasis on creativity and ease of flow between postures –  a moving meditation.

Moving Inward 5:00 – 6.15pm – Our afternoon practice will be a combination of meditation, chanting and restorative yoga.  We will explore techniques to combat stress and anxiety, so you feel empowered to incorporate these tools as needed into your day. This week long retreat provides an opportunity to move more deeply into your own awareness and growth.

TEACHER Gabrielle Boswell has been teaching yoga since 2002 and is co-owner of Bhava Yoga & Dance Centre in Warrandyte, Australia. She has completed a Graduate Certification in Yoga Therapy and is a Level I iRest Yoga Nidra teacher, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to all her teachings. She has written and produced a guided relaxation and meditation CD, ‘Where blue meets blue’.

 “I have been teaching yoga since 2002 and consider myself blessed to be able to share that which I am truly passionate about with others through regular yoga classes, workshops and retreats.  The yoga I teach is of a creative nature, using smooth transitions between postures , themes and imagery. It is gentle and nurturing, with options and modifications so everyone can participate. Bhava yoga is inclusive, not exclusive; you are encouraged to move your body in a way that is ALWAYS pain free and in a comfortable range of movement.”

1.00 Lunch and free time. Tapa making demonstration at Daku from local craftwomen. We've also got a trip to Savusavu Town planned to see local markets and shops. We put you in cabs to get into town and then leave you to wander around at your own pace, and let you take a cab (Aus$3), or walk back, when you’ve had enough.

12.30am Visit to Devodara beach and picnic lunch. Return to Daku around 3.30pm
