GoogleA good place nestled in the jungle, quiet & peaceful, very suitable for meditation 🧘♀️
Beautiful place. Beautiful people. Beautiful technique :) I have been during. 3 days workperiod and serving a 10 day course recently and I will do it again! I can recommend it to everyone! Kind regards with metta Alma
I am so grateful for this center and for the creation of this work. I attended in October 2106 and again in Jan 2018. Before attending my first 10 day course, I was full of anxiety and confusion about my life's purpose and I had a strong determination to understand this existence. I felt very lost. After this course, I had a profound inner peace from the practice and the knowledge gained from it. The center grounds are the perfect peaceful setting for this deep inner work that was so different than what I imagined. the volunteers and teachers are so supportive and yet they give you the space you require to do the work. the food was absolutely delicious beyond my belief! Everyone experiences this differently and I had a life changing one that is still serving me to this day. The second time I went, I served in the kitchen and even behind the scenes great things are in order. To me, this work is the most valuable as it was effective in teaching me to access and experience myself as I truly am. Words are hardly adequate to describe it. I am so grateful that I answered the yearning of my inner self to do this course. True peace and happiness was and is the result for me. I absolutely love that it is provided free of charge, since this work is our birthright. Yet it is priceless. Appreciation & gratitude pour from soul to all those who are responsible for this work being available all around the globe!
Incredibly valuable and moving experience for me. I was recommended this Silent Meditation Retreat by my Psychic who told me I would receive immense benefit from it. The experience left me deeply moved and has only kickstarted other internal processes. Very happy I did this. I had no idea something like this even existed in Australia. Located in a lush part of sub-tropical Sunshine Coast, QLD. You are welcomed warmly from the very first day, instructions and expectations are given concisely & clearly and yes, you will need to do some serious internal work to get any benefit from such a course. Vipassana is not a thing to be taken lightly, diligent work is required from you as well as strong determination. Meditation ain't for sissies, let's put it that way...if you can't sit still for long periods of time or have no serious intention to take something on board as potent as Vipassana, then don't do it. You have to be at the right time and place in your life to embark on such a thing. Modest boarding, ablution halls and delicious vegetarian meals are all provided, free of charge. Access to a modest and enclosed beautiful nature walk, stunning views of Mt Cooroora, native birds chirping and singing 24/7, native wildlife make regular appearances, fresh clean air and naturally soft, filtered rainwater available for personal use. A well loved facility run by selfless servers and past students. I highly recommend Vipassana Meditation and Dhamma Rasmi to all those "going within" to find themselves...and anyone on a Spiritual Quest...an experience of a lifetime. Use it well...
Amazing experience on a 10 day meditation retreat. If you have ever been piqued by trying out one because of curiosity or from the recommendations of many people, I'll add to that cacophony. It is definitely worth your while and time for this internal reflection and take some time in a space where everything is done as harmoniously as possible. Check out their website for more details and make sure you read through the checklist and understand everything before signing up. There is usually a long wait for spots so book early.
