Certified Iyengar Yoga teacher / Diploma in Education.

I've practised & studied yoga for over 20 years. My classes are conducted in a traditional classical style, with precise techniques and instructions to align the anatomical & physiological bodies in conjunction with breath awareness.

Props are used to bring a deeper understanding to the poses.

The focus in my personal practice & teaching is on developing inner & outer strength and exploring the calm & clarity that comes with working the body, mind & breath together.

OCTOBER YOGA & MEDITATION

For the month of October these sessions will run via Zoom on Thursday evenings from 5.30 to 6.30pm. All levels welcome.

A recording of the sessions will be available to view & practise at your convenience for 1 week before it’s replaced with the next session.

 

* The theme is Meditation in Motion. Each session will comprise of gentle stretches & simple breath work followed by a guided meditation (content changes every week) These sessions are designed to help you sleep better @ night & are best practised in the evenings. 



* Parents might like to encourage their Year 12 children who are experiencing anxiety & restless nights to give it a go.

BEYOND LOCKDOWN

The general level classes are ideal for new comers to yoga or for those wanting to consolidate their practice. General yoga poses are practiced with gentle stretching & relaxation as the main focus.

* Private yoga sessions are available for those keen to advance their yoga practice, have special needs or wish to experience the benefits of using props. Contact me to discuss your needs 0402 551 489 – vimyoga@aapt.net.au



Students are encouraged to sign up for a series of sessions. This allows you to work progressively week by week, developing skills & techniques to help you reach your full potential. Committed students really notice the benefits that come from a regular yoga practice, with improvement to their physical posture, mental state & quality of breath.


We will work with attentive care to provide a COVID-safe space. QR code check-ins will be required for entry along with proof of vaccination status, as per NSW government regulations. We will continue with distancing, sanitising and mask compliance.
