GoogleI resisted Transcendental Meditation for nearly five years and was convinced it wasn’t for me. I finally received the course as a Christmas gift in 2025 — and it has truly changed my life. I told Danny Goodman upfront that I have severe ADHD and didn’t believe I could sit still for 20 minutes. He met me with patience and calm confidence and showed me how to work with the meditation instead of fighting myself. That made all the difference. Since learning TM, I’ve experienced deep emotional release — many times tears quietly stream down my face during meditation, and I come out feeling reset and grounded. This practice has helped me tremendously while coping with the overwhelming insurance process after my home was damaged in the Palisades fire. My sleep is noticeably better, and after my morning meditation I now feel clear about my priorities for the day. I’m deeply grateful for Danny’s guidance and compassion. I highly recommend learning TM with him, especially if you think you “can’t meditate” — I used to believe the same.
Having anxiety and feeling really concerned about my stress levels with the current climate of the world a friend recommended TM. I trained with both Denny and Emily and they are both amazing. The space, the vibe and the process was so wonderfully healing. I am so glad I did it and my hubby and 2 friends have joined me. So so glad for inner calm. Emily Fitz Randolph is an incredible teacher who articulated the technique so clearly and brilliantly and took the group on a 4 day ramp up of deeper insights and experiences. In a group environment, students learn so much from each other's reflections. The forcing function of meeting every day makes you accountable for practicing twice daily. I'd been dipping in and out of meditation for decades with limited improved connection with myself, my relationships with others and the world. The TM technique is simple, transformative and immediate. I'm experiencing happiness and clarity and am excited to embrace TM into my life.
I had heard of TM many years ago but never looked into it, avoiding cults and religions, until David Lynch passed away. I’m working on a very challenging project that could be stressful so I decided to take a look. Within the first meeting, a free intro, I immediately felt stress melt away, lost my self consciousness, and had the most productive day in decades! I knew right then that this practice not only resonated with me but felt like the help I’d been seeking all along. It is not a cult or religion, as I had feared, but a personal meditation practice designed to take you to a deeper consciousness, which aligns you with your own path, health, and success. I’ve been meditating twice a day for almost a month now, very grateful for the changes I’m experiencing.
I decided to do something positive for myself starting the New Year and signed up for a transcendental meditation 4 day course. ——I am an anxious person but do not take meds. I also worry a lot and have repetitive thoughts. ——Kay Nguyen was my T.M teacher- in LA She was knowledgeable , patient and helpful, anticipating my questions. During the initial 1-1 session in I was given a mantra, and was soon already meditating with a feeling of calm afterwards. ——The group sessions were educational and I got to practise meditation alongside other people. 3 weeks have passed and I have been consistently meditating 2x day and I look forward to that peaceful time. I seem to be coping better with life stressors and feel more present, less harried. Would recommend. .
