Summary: A creative, spacious, & gently warming morning flow that made me feel more open than when I arrived. The Space: Approaching Round Willow feels like stepping into a little nature retreat. A white round door leads you along a quiet path to an open clearing that gently slows you down before you enter the studio. Inside, the room feels light & spacious, with large windows, natural textures, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out comfortably. The Class: This was a gentle morning flow that gradually warmed the body. Truthfully, my body usually moves more easily in the afternoon or in a heated room, yet I still warmed up really nicely here. Although labeled β€œall levels,” the class made me (delightfully) feel like a beginner again. Not because it was difficult, but because Sarah offered creative transitions I had never done before. They subtly challenged my balance in poses my body already knows well. Being pleasantly caught off guard was genuinely fun! The pace was steady rather than intense, and by the end I felt more open than when we began. The music supported the practice without taking over, gently holding the space while Sarah clearly guided us through each movement. The Teacher: Instead of calling out pose names, Sarah guided us by describing shapes and movements in simple, accessible language (unexpected & enjoyed). Her cueing felt creative and playful, and the class overall felt more like an exploration than a routine sequence. We closed with a gentle reminder to stay open to attracting our heart’s desires, followed by a collective OM. Vibe: Gentle & Playful. Practical Notes: Mats are available to rent, with free blocks, bolsters, and blankets provided for class. There is a single restroom, cubbies in the lobby for belongings, and metered parking outside.

Wow! I took Sydney’s Restore & Rise class and am now obsessed with kundalini yoga. I felt so connected to my breath and body all whilst being able to look within. I left the practice feeling reenergized and will be incorporating the mantras and breath work into my daily. Sydney was extremely educational and the playlist was πŸ”₯

Round Willow is my favorite local yoga studio. The teachers are always so kind and have great energy. The studio is inclusive of all levels. I always leave feeling grounded and renewed. The space is clean and welcoming. I highly recommend.

Great yoga studio. Taken classes there for years. Catie’s yin class is one of my all time favorites. Very spiritual, especially when she sings and plays guitar at the end.
