Although I haven’t been in for a bit because of a job transition (nothing to do with the studio!), this is still my favorite Pilates spot and I’m so excited to get back to my regular classes. The atmosphere is welcoming and never pretentious. It really feels like a true neighborhood studio - community-based, familiar, and refreshingly affordable, which is rare to find. The space is also always spotless, which is huge for me when it comes to workout studios. If you’re new to Pilates or don’t consider yourself a “workout girl,” I highly recommend starting with a beginner class. It’s a great entry point and you’ll feel comfortable right away. My biggest tip is to find the instructor who matches your vibe. Every instructor I’ve taken with is great, but each class has its own style and intensity, so it’s worth exploring to see what works best for you. I personally love Luna’s classes if you want to be challenged while still laughing through the burn, and Nicolette is amazing for her attention to traditional Pilates form and detail. Can’t wait to be back!

Small Pilates studio in Ridgewood. The team is so nice. Very clean reformers. Not a pretentious studio that makes you feel uncomfortable — so great for beginners!

I attended the 7am class. Loved having an early option before starting work. It was great start to my day. I love the intimate setting. The instructor was great. I'll be back.

Ridgewood Pilates is my favorite place to be ! In August 2024 I decided to return to Pilates after many years. I took a few private classes with the owner, Gosia. She was extremely supportive, kind, and welcoming. I then began to take group classes with Maria Lorenzo. Maria is extremely knowledgable and truly amazing! Very grateful for this business, and the lovely, wonderful people there!
