GoogleI had been looking to get back in to yoga to alleviate lower pack pain and sciatica, so I thought I would try the complimentary yoga session at North Perth Yoga Room. Straight away I felt the relaxed but measured vibe from the instructor, Ann, and I thoroughly enjoyed the session, which I found very easy to follow. Ann has a way of weaving her very clear instructions on the poses with delightful meditative musings that are almost hypnotic. I find that I don’t even have to look around to see what position I am supposed to be in, which is great for a relative beginner. Ann’s style of yoga never feels repetitive and yet I find myself practicing the poses without even realising. I have been going for over a month now and already I have started to feel improvement in my lower back, the exercises gently stretch my spine to release the impinged nerve. Ann is hands on and gently guides my body to form the poses correctly. I look forward to yoga becoming a regular part of my routine and reaping the benefits of the practice for years to come. If you are thinking of giving yoga a go, definitely give North Perth Yoga Room a try
I have been attending North Perth yoga room for many years. It has a great sense of community and offers different levelled classes, so you never feel out of place. Ann has a vast knowledge of Iyengar yoga/ philosophy and anatomy and helps guide you to a deeper understanding of your own practice. I would highly recommend this yoga school to all.
I attended the Easter yoga retreat by North Perth Yoga Room and enjoyed it very much. The classes are easy to follow despite I don’t have much experience. Ann is very knowledgeable and with her guidance I can improve my poses. The farm and food are amazing too, certainly recommended and would love to be back again.
I have dipped in and out of yoga for many decades.While in Perth,Yoga with Ann is non negotiable. She is welcoming no matter what your level of experience or ability.She tunes into and adjusts your body quietly and respectfully.Of all the yoga teachers I have had,Ann is the only one who paces breathing in a way to connect breathing and posture. Her teaching gently guides students to reflect on the deeper meaning of yoga ,cultivating awareness, stillness and presence both on and off the mat. She possesses a profound understanding of anatomy and alignment, and her clear, intelligent instructions allow each posture to become a meditation in action.
