As a retired Pilates Teacher, I have been searching for a Pilates Studio that offered the values of teaching that I believe in and one that was teaching small groups. When I discovered the Mindful Pilates Studio only had 5 Reformers I was delighted. So if you are taking classes, each class is like a private session. Your teacher can see when you're struggling and need help. I've come, first of all, to Claudia for 1:1s to help me regain confidence in my 73 year old body that has had a severe bashing over the last 3 years. So slowly, slowly, she is bringing my body back to a level of confidence that is beginning to help me deal so much better with everyday life. It is slow, but the important thing for me is that each time I train I see a small progression. When your body is in trouble, it is hard to manage exercise at home. Claudia has an excellent team of teachers, a great capacity to understand what your body needs and thankfully works you hard but sensitively. The space is calm and you can avail of other classes and treatments and a coffee and a chat. It has a community spirit. So I would thoroughly recommend giving this Studio your time to help you in whatever your goals are.

I had a private reformer Pilates session with Claudia and was extremely impressed. She is STOTT trained (the best training available, in my opinion), highly professional, and very patient in her teaching. She clearly knows exactly what she’s doing and works in a precise, attuned, and safe way. I felt well supported throughout the session and confident in her expertise. I’ve already signed up for regular private sessions and very much look forward to continuing to work with her. The studio is amazing and offers so much amazing stuff from reformer pilates to yoga, massage, a cafe, a shop, osteopath, facials, nail salons… 🫢

I absolutely love the Mindful Pilates studio. Claudia and her team are exceptional instructors. The space is beautiful and everyone is very welcoming. I feel stronger, more flexible and more toned from regularly attending the reformer Pilates classes here. I can’t recommend this studio more highly. Thank you!

As someone with a chronic hip/back pain and other recurring injuries with various joints, I have tried a number of pilates of studios and classes (not only in Richmond but also at various locations in London) and I can honestly say that Mindful Pilates is the best one so far. Classes are small and you always get great feedback. I also worked one-to-one with Claudia and we have made so much progress to my recovery progress. Claudia is not only a pilates guru but she is also extremely knowledgeable in anything to do with musculoskeletal system. She pays atttention to your progress, injuries and overall health. It has been a joy working with her. Another shout out goes to Yanitsa. Her calm energy and well rounded classes have become my favourite way to start my weekends! I also want to add: the environment is so nice and peaceful, the booking system and packages are very easy to use and understand. I am away on a long holiday now and cannot wait to go back!

I've been very impressed with the knowledgeable, professional, responsive team of Pilates instructors at the studio. I'm 'Grannie' age, albeit a relatively fit Grannie who hikes and bikes. I discovered that the motion sickness I had as a child was still alive and well when it came to doing reformer exercises on my back, much to my surprise. So that adaptations to exercises had to be made. This was no problem for the teachers. I've been enjoying small group classes that are very helpful wth strength and balance, where there is attention to each person in an encouraging and light manner.
