This resort is great the owner has a high attention to detail and wants to make sure his guests are having a good time and are comfortable. Helen and Flaca are amazing in the kitchen: the food is very fresh and healthy. They have the ability to provide laundry service. The Muy Thai and Jiu Jitsu instructors are highly experienced. They are rolling out their own yoga program in a very nice yoga shallah, and guests have access to the nearby Bodhi Tree resort for yoga classes. They offer surf lessons as well and there are boards for rent. They have a great pool with a diving board and poolside lounge area. There is a community kitchen and a pool table. I highly recommend going here its a great value great location and excellent vacation stay.
We stayed the month of January 2026 and loved our little casita. Location is quiet, safe, feels secluded and with a private road there was little traffic going thru. About a 5 minute walk to convenience store, 15 minute walk to Bodhi Tree and about 25 minute walk to beach. Casitas are clean and modern and well appointed with AC. Common kitchen with everything you’d need - blender, microwave, rice cooker, and even an air fryer! Pool is glorious though you gotta work for it by climbing the stairs🤣 We took a few Muay Thai classes with Sebastian - super fun! David the owner is incredibly responsive and took care of issues and requests immediately. The cleaning and maintenance crew were nice and did a great job keeping up with chores. Definitely would stay here again!
I spent two amazing weeks at jungle’s Edge. Everyone there was really nice and helpful. Dave set me up with a good deal on a surf board and motorcycle rental, he also is a really good surfer so take any advice he gives you. The breakfast I had every morning, was delicious and nutritious. I mostly trained Muay Thai there and the coaches were great and knowledgeable, in Bjj as well for the few classes I attended. I rented a glamping hut and it was clean and had everything one needs to spend time there. The whole staff is super friendly and professional. I really had a great time at jungles edge and would recommend it to anyone that wants to keep training, wants to try martial arts during their vacation or needs a cool spot to stay at for their vacation.
Magical spot for solo travelers! Stayed in a bungalow - waking up to jungle views, falling asleep to nature sounds. The full Costa Rica experience. Clean, great amenities (gym, cold plunge, pool), and a chill vibe to meet people. David is super responsive. 20 min from the beach. Would definitely come back.
I spent a week in a glamping hut while in Nosara. I appreciated the comfy bed and blankets and all the pillows, drinkable tap water and the communal kitchen. The pool was lovely and clean..be aware of the steep hike to get up there. David was helpful and communicative. I had food poisoning and was very sick, he was quick to organize freshening my room up. There’s a small store within walking distance. There is no hot water which I didht know and it’s important remember you’re in the jungle. The wind can be noisy at night and bring lots of things in. I definitely had some issues with bugs. Overall..great value for your money in an area that’s ridiculously over hyped and overpriced.
