GoogleI have two young daughters at Hawthorne Healthcare. They have a neurodegenerative disease and have been at Hawthorne for 2 years. This place has been so wonderful for my girls! I have so many great things to say about the staff and the care ! I have a huge shout out to my daughter’s main nurse, Fortune. She goes above and beyond in taking good care of my daughters!! I can tell my daughters really like her because, although they have lost their ability to speak from the disease, Fortune does her best at listening to them by watching their behavior. Not many care workers have her kind of patience, love and compassion to allow the patients to feel heard and seen. One of my daughters is very independent and can be stubborn but Fortune’s love for her job and for people, makes her an outstanding care provider. The staff, overall, shows a lot of compassion, they are all friendly and helpful !! I feel extremely grateful that I have found this very nice facility for my daughters. I can sleep at night knowing they are getting their needs met !
I enjoyed being at the center to visit and minister to the patients. Also, l very much appreciated the warm and friendly atmosphere there. The staff was kind and helpful Furthermore, the Activity Director was wonderful. Thanks for the great experience.
