The past six days I spent at a meditation retreat in Siem Reap, Cambodia — learning not only about meditation and yoga, but about myself through stillness. We practiced mindfulness, ate nourishing vegan, gluten- and dairy-free meals, and completely unplugged from technology. I was blessed by monks, took part in an ice bath and a fire ceremony, and spent a full day in silence — which we ended together at sunrise at Angkor Wat. It was an unforgettable experience that reminded me how peaceful and alive life feels when you slow down and look within.

I just finished my second retreat at Hariharalaya and I feel alive again! It’s hard to understand why we stop doing a daily practice. It seems to benefit every part of my life. The new centre is like a 5 star resort and the program is even more potent than ever. Perhaps one of the best foundational yoga programs on the planet in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Stop your search. “When the student is ready the teacher will appear.” This non-commercial non-ego-yoga retreat is a heart offering of love to the human kingdom. Maybe no need to go to India or Egypt or Peru. If you are looking for a direct transmission to the wisdom of the sages and aligned masters, this extremely well vetted 6 day retreat gets you completely upgraded and downloaded with all the lost ancient codes. Joel and his team have been refining their offering for 15 years and their transformational, day by day processes, on and off the mat, unlearns you from all the western misinformation. Expect upgrades for your consciousness so significant that you walk away with inner peace, and the daily tools to maintain it too, for a lifetime. I love the program so much that I have done it twice. My first time was 10 years ago and it was time for a refresher. Also, for a shared accommodation price of $600USD there are no excuses allowed. This is simply your ticket to freedom and liberation from any struggling. Robert Kent

I have been trying to find the words to describe the magic of Hari Hara for weeks… If you’ve found this place, I’d recommend taking it as a sign to just go! I’ve been to a lot of retreats, and really, this is the best one I’ve ever been to for so many reasons. First off, it really sets you up with practices and knowledge to take home with you after the retreat, so you can make the changes you start here into a part of your life. It also offers a real community feel, and it’s such a well-curated journey from start to finish. Every single practice, class, and teaching is really designed to reconnect you to yourself and remind you what’s most important. The digital detox is also such a gift to give to yourself and it’s such an invaluable chance to renew and reset. The food and accommodations are exquisite… the staff is lovely… and the blend of dance and silence, laughter and wisdom was so unique and enriching on so many levels. Plus I fell in love with Cambodia and highly recommend it as a travel destination — it’s so gorgeous and cheap and safe and the people are absolutely lovely. Siem Reap is also a jewel of a city and this is the perfect place to explore it. I’m so grateful to have found this special place. Just go 💜
