GoogleSuch a beautiful location with all the facilities and a cordial staff. It was worth the stay and greenery. The monkeys are a happy sight
I attended the 10-day Vipassana course here from June 15 to June 26, and it was truly a life-altering experience. The weather was magical , fog drifting through tall pine trees, mist swirling in the air, and blooming hydrangeas painting the landscape with soft colors. During the short breaks, I would often find myself quietly watching nature, feeling deeply connected. The retreat taught me profound truths, that happiness and sadness are not very different; both are fleeting. What truly matters is peace, which is far more beautiful and lasting than either. Far away from worldly distractions, in complete silence, I gained glimpses of wisdom about the impermanence of time and the restless nature of the mind. Like a monkey, the mind leaps around — but with practice and awareness, it can be trained. We meditated for almost 10 hours a day, from 4:30 AM to 9:00 PM. The journey was not easy, there were moments of deep struggle, sometimes anxiety, and at times, unexpected joy and clarity. But every part of it was worth it. I would wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone. It’s not just a course; it’s a mirror to your inner world. I hope to return again someday.
I have been here from 15 to 26 August. It is the place where you can go within yourself without any distraction and worries. This is the place where you experience impermanence.
Completed 10 day course here today Amazing Experience If you want to attend the course here Book early on the day booking opens 60 days in advance Approximate 45 to 50 seats available in men and women each and they get filled in first few hours of booking Facilities available here are comforting Staff is excellent and caring Urbanization of Dharamkot is only downside for Meditation Centres here like this one and Tushita next door Blaring Music disturbs the peace at night Still very best
This is the place where you will get complete isolation, internal peace, satisfaction, awesome environment, hygienic food which is tasty also. They don't charge any fees although you can donate money at the discloser of course. If you really want to learn meditation than this is the place you should go.
