I dropped in because I was travelling around Australia. Carole fitted me in and made me feel very welcome. This particular class focused on building leg strength which was perfect for my travelling (lots of sitting on airplanes) and perfect for my age (53). As we were in poses, Carole gave us great instructions and advice. I wish I could have written down everything she said, because it was spot on. Great for yoga, great for life. I would recommend regular classes with Carole for building health and resilience for now and when you might need it in the future, best investment you can make for yourself!!

One of the most beautiful yoga spaces I’ve ever been to. Every time I walk in, it feels like stepping into a sanctuary. As a beginner, I’ve always felt safe practicing and learning from Carole and Lana. What really stands out is how deeply attentive Carole is. She sees each student’s body and works with the details ,sometimes shifting a finger, a foot, the smallest alignment , to open things up in completely new ways. Many students talk about being challenged but always supported, and feeling seen in her classes. I’ve experienced that myself. The way she offers modifications, corrects gently, and tunes into how people are doing in class is a gift. I’ve practiced yoga before, but nothing like Iyengar yoga and discovering it here has been truly life-changing. It’s had such a positive effect that seeps into every other part of my life!!!

I recently discovered Darwin Yoga Space after trying a few different yoga studios in town and I’m so glad I did. Carole has created the most beautiful space and community and the teaching here is the perfect ratio of high quality technique and spiritualism. I’d encourage everyone to come here and practice.

My happy place 🥰 I love Darwin Yoga Space and attend at least four classes a week. I'm someone who finds it very hard to slow down, quieten my mind and practice self-care. Iyengar yoga, and Darwin Yoga Space specifically, is the only place where this is possible for me. I walk in stressed, agitated and with a to-do list a mile long and walk out an hour later having completely surrendered to my yoga practice. I highly recommend this school to everyone looking to make a mindful yoga practice part of their lives.

I'll give Darwin Yoga Space 6 stars if possible. Teachers are compassionate, in depth of knowledge of what they are doing. The studio is amazingly spacious, neat, calm. The classes are thoughtfully structured, precisely explained. Alternative asanas are given personal issue/difficulity make yoga is approachable for everyone. I remember that I first came to class with tired body, bad shoulders and neck. I felt constantly burned out. After 6 months, what I used to know about yoga is changed. I have understood my body a lot more than before. I'm now much stronger and in balance. I appreciate daily life, small, consistent effort as I come to the classes almost everyday. That feeling of being lifted, opened, awareness of body and mind in one, in control and at peace after every class. That's the reason to come and practice regularly.
