YOGA+PILATES
teaches basic floor stretches for hips, groin, quads, hamstrings and shoulders
as well as strength and stability poses
on the mat. Core strengthening is emphasised in the Pilates exercises
and is integrated into the yoga
stretches.
STRETCH AND RELAX
is a class for people who are
interested in learning the basic
stretches that aid in creating and maintaining flexibility needed in
normal daily life. This set routine of stretches is suitable for anyone
wanting to keep joints greased and muscles stretched as they
'mature'.
PLEASE NOTE:
Aspiring yogis wishing to learn
contortion need not apply...
headstands, shoulderstands,
backbends and extreme twists
are not taught in any classes.
All classes are geared towards
people who wish to create and
maintain the flexibility that facilitates normal daily life activities.
