GoogleFirst time staying, would definitely come back! Beautiful red rock views and hot air balloons if you’re up early. Great star views. Lots of campfires in the evening. Clean heated bathrooms made a huge difference for night time bathroom trips. Hot water and showers. Beautiful creek. Friendly campfires hosts. Great price. If you need a phone signal, try the southwest corner outside the bathrooms. Remember to screenshot the directions because service is spotty on the final stretch. We forgot to go the route recommended on the website but were able to get there by going up and around, coming in from 89A heading southeast
This was our second time camping there. As always friendly staff clean grounds. The only disappointment was the hot water for the shower was not working and they did not give us a heads up. Beforehand ended up cutting our vacation short. But they did offer to refund some of our money due to the issue which to me says a lot about the people running the campground, good place to go.
This was our second time camping here, and once again we had a great experience. The campsite is a private area with designated fire pits, which makes it feel cozy and well-organized. It was nice to see that more sites now have picnic benches, it made things so much easier for us. We chose a site with a power outlet, which was super convenient. The surroundings are beautiful, quiet, and very peaceful—perfect for a relaxing camping trip without noise or crowds. The bathrooms really stood out: very clean, proper flush toilets, and they even had heater inside, which was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t use the showers, but they were available as well. Overall, a wonderful camping spot, and we’ll definitely be returning again.
Excellent bathroom facilities here, with showers and flushing toilets. They allow pets. They do have wifi but the red rocks are so nice you won't want to be on your phone! Beautiful community gardens. Most sites have campfire spots and they have firewood bundles for sale. Great weather, even in the winter! Everyone is really friendly so it's easy to make friends while staying here. One of the best campsites I've been to for amenities and location.
I was leery about booking at a private campsite, but was pleasantly surprised. The areas are well-maintained and the views are great. The hosts are very friendly as well. From the campgrounds, you can take an easy path down to Oak Creek. It was lush and shady, and if you go to the end of the path, you'll find a lovely waterfall - I'm guessing it's natural and not man-made. I am looking forward to my next visit!!
