GoogleHave been working with Dan for a few months and the difference it has made in my day to day lower back pain has been huge. This has been my first experience with the Feldenkrais method and I wasn't sure what to expect. Learning a new approach to standing, walking and breathing differently has helped me more than PT/pain meds/back brace ever did and I really appreciate Dan's teaching style. Started to feel better after just a few sessions and continuing to see improvements with each week.
This course had a major positive affect on many aspects of my well being. After a few sessions I began to feel like I was far more present in my body which meant I could feel my feel and so also felt more grounded. Both of these things helped to ease my anxiety which was quite high before the course. A specific daily outcome is that I am remembering to stop and breath deeply a few times in the day. The learning from this course has also improved my mindfulness practice and integrated this more deeply in my body. I full heartedly recommend.
A few sessions with Dan made a huge difference. His holistic approach addressed both my shoulder pain and unstable ankles. My pain is gone. My posture is better. And I'm much less fatigued at the end of the day. Yay.
βI worked with Dan for a couple of months. He is a keen observer of movement and an effective teacher. For a number of years I had pain, stiffness, and aches in my hips with sciatica-like soreness in my legs. It would take several days for my muscles to recover after skiing, hiking, or exercising. With conventional physical therapy I had temporary mixed results in alleviating symptoms. I first tried Feldenkrais with a different practitioner than Dan and improved, but plateaued with continuing moderate pain after exercise. When getting out of bed in the morning my legs still sometimes felt like they were on fire. Dan has helped me to achieve the next level toward pain free movement and I now have only sporadic mild achiness. In time, I hope to be completely pain free as I continue exploring the actions Dan provided. I thank him for giving me the tools to be more fully mobile without restriction and again being able to enjoy the many activities that I had previously cut back.β
Dan is phenomenal. Just - do it. π«ΆπΌ
