GoogleI completed my YTT 200hrs this year & I found the teachers at Avatar to be very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. They were very keen to help develop our teaching skills and guide us whilst ensuring we stayed true to the original teachings which was very important to me when selecting a school. Be prepared for long days as there is so much to learn. Go with an open mind, a passion for yoga and good intentions and you will have an amazing experience at Avatar. We had a great group of students which added to the experience. The food was very tasty and there was always plenty. The accommodation is basic however it was clean and spacious with an amazing view of the mountains, being set back slightly from the hussle and bustle of the main village and the honking horns was a bonus.
I`m very happy to have chosen Avatar Yoga School. The teachers are very knowledgeable and the disciplines are very interesting. Food is very good and the rooms comfortable, with hot water and wifi. There is an excellent value for the cost and the yoga hall has a beautiful view on the mountains of Himalaya. I felt at home and I will miss this school.
It was Life-Time Experience! What a beautiful place, people, teachers, atmosphere, rooms, program. It was exactly as description - we got a lucky chance to get know and study Traditional Yoga, with all spiritual, mindful and physical activities. The schedule was just perfect - we had many different classes with proper break in between. So we had enough time to rest our body and mind and to continue our studies. Right now I feel I am ready to go and teach my class on my own. On top of all - it was humble but very comfortable staying, with hot shower and fans. The most beautiful part is that in Avatar Yoga school it's always small groups, not more than 10. We were 7 of us from all over the world and we became a true family, we were supporting each other on the way and had great Spirit of unity and true community. I will definitely recommend Avatar Yoga school to all people who want to come and learn True Yoga from the very first sours - the mother land of Yoga - by Holy Ganges and Himalaya mountains and professional teacher who share their deep practice and experience from the very heart and soul.
Incredible classes and teachers :) I was there on May 2017- June 2017 for RYT-200 teacher training course. on my first day that i arrived India, i was so nervous to get out from the airport by my self. but Yogi was kindly sent me a transportation from airport to school, so at the time i already felt comfortable to talk to him. School enviorment was so nice, beautiful and quiet, you can wake up with the sounds bird chirping every morning, and the cleaner staff always keep the facility nice and clean :) teachers are unique and knowledgeable, also funny too! i literally enjoyed to stay this Avatar Yoga School! I have done the TTC 200 hrs in Avatar school, it has been an incredible experience. All teachers were very passionate into sharing all their knoledge. The structure of the school is very cousy and pleasant and the kitchen is amazing. I have met incredible people, it's very possible that i will come back soon to complete my yoga studies.
