GoogleI have been practicing this meditation for over seven months, and I would like to share how this practice has changed my life. Before I started meditation, I suffered from deep anxiety about my future and my life in the United States due to global political turmoil, corruption, injustice, war, and human suffering. To me, the world felt hopeless—filled with confusion and an imminent threat of unchecked racism and violence. I struggled with high blood pressure, unresolved anger, and persistent feelings of abandonment and ingratitude from my family. I attempted to ease my suffering by returning to church. However, my sense of detachment only deepened when I realized that the large church I attended did not even know my name. My family recommended that I seek professional psychological counseling for my mood swings and ongoing unhappiness. One day, as I was leaving the gym after my daily workout, I met a gentleman named James Kim, who was inviting people to join his Atlantic Meditation group. I was curious but skeptical that meditation could help resolve my struggles. Still, I accepted his invitation to try meditation for one month. To my amazement, after several weeks of daily meditation, my anxiety was replaced by a sense of hope and connection. I began to experience peace and harmony within my family. After about a month of daily meditation, I began to experience unusual and profound inner phenomena that initially made me fear I was losing my mind. At the same time, I developed a deep sense of connection with nature and felt more attuned to the light of the moon and the sun. I also felt a strong desire to comfort and help people around me who were suffering. During this period, I was fortunate to meet an 85-year-old active Catholic priest who was no longer able to drive. I now regularly provide transportation for him to and from church, where he conducts Mass, and we have become close friends. Through this connection, my faith community invited me to help coordinate and support parish activities. I also began volunteering at the elementary school where my granddaughter currently attends. I mentor two first-grade students who face challenges that affect their ability to succeed in the classroom. These experiences fill my heart with a sense of fulfillment that money and material rewards could never provide. These new commitments are just a few of the small miracles that have transformed my life. Through meditation, I have experienced happiness and peace that I once believed were impossible for me. I have gained spiritual clarity and the ability to recognize the illusions and pitfalls of karmic reality. I now live with gratitude in the present moment, and my goal in life is to align myself fully with the Eternal Truth of the Universe and with God.
I’ve been practicing this meditation for almost a year. I actually came because of the Google reviews. At first I thought they were fake, but the more I read, the more intrigued I became! I sought out meditation because I wanted help managing my emotions — there were times when my emotions (usually anger) made me act in ways that were not in alignment with my values. I had a ton of stress in my life and James helped me shift my entire perspective in a way that has made me happier and more at peace in my most difficult relationships. James is kind and thoughtful, but he is not afraid to challenge me on my thinking and I have learned so much from him. I’ve tried other meditation methods, as well as therapy, and I’ve found this to be the only thing that has ever truly helped me. It’s been a pretty radical shift in my worldview.
James was very helpful in helping me understand what meditation is. I came into this not knowing about meditation but he thoroughly explained to me how to learn to let go . I’m eager to learn more about meditation & how it can benefit my life.
Before starting meditation, I struggled with deep sadness and depression. I had no dreams or hopes for the future, and life felt joyless. I felt like I was going nowhere and was constantly worried about my health. It seemed like I wasn’t truly living my life, and I couldn’t see a future for myself. When I tried to solve my problems, I felt hopeless. I didn’t believe I could fix them, or I thought it would take forever to do so. I wanted to overcome my depression immediately, but I felt like it was something I would have to live with for the rest of my life. Meditation gave me hope that I could change myself. I started to see improvement and felt good about it. I noticed a positive shift in my mindset, especially when I maintained my daily meditation habit. It also helped me manage my anger. I felt a real change when I noticed myself feeling more positive. Keeping up with meditation every day made a difference, and I saw that I was gradually getting better. My life has changed—I feel happier and more relaxed. I feel more like the person I used to be before depression took over. I no longer feel the same sadness as before.
Before I started meditation, I felt stuck—no matter how hard I tried to move forward, nothing seemed to work. I wasn’t progressing, I lacked confidence, and I felt stagnant. Now, I feel more energetic and capable. I’m able to accomplish more, be more active at home, and truly enjoy the present moment. Before, I always felt rushed, but now I feel calm. Meditation aligns with what I believe—that everything starts in the mind and that our minds are connected to the universe. I now feel more focused on the present, less worried about the future, and much more at peace.
