Been coming here for some time now. They offer STD/HIV testing and treatment. I get all my Prep work done here. All the employees are wonderful and attentive. Genuinely caring for your health. They take very good care of you.
Such Amazing People. They are literal lifesavers. The fact that they can provide so much help for free is amazing to me. In my opinion, all the people complaining about wait times are taking this place for granted. To avoid long wait times, I recommend going at night. To all the staff (who were so friendly), I say thank you so much.
This place doesn’t deserve such low ratings. I so appreciate the service they offer- free STD testing with no red tape. I’ve always been able to park right inside the gate. Last time I pulled up like 5 minutes before closing (my intent to get there early in the day slipped my mind until the last moment) and I was so thankful they let me in! I begged them to let me quickly submit some pee and self swabs, and since I was already in their system, they very kindly obliged. 🙏 This is a fantastic location to get regularly tested and to enjoy peace of mind through continued good health. 👌
So grateful for this place! Even though I have insurance, it takes forever to schedule an appointment with my primary care doctor, then to schedule lab work, then to wait for the results. Sometimes I have to pay a copay as well. AHF takes care of everything on the spot, free of charge, and you get your results fairly quickly, HIV immediately and everything else usually a week max. Laurie is so warm and welcoming at the front desk and Jasmine the phlebotomist is also super sweet. The rest of the staff if also very kind, especially when this topic can be uncomfortable. There is a wait sometimes, Mondays are usually super busy and Wednesdays can be as well. Thurs through Sat tend to be more chill. Just a general guideline, but dont quote me on this. A visit can last 90 min or more on a busy day but just 15 min if not, so plan accordingly. Thank you AHF for serving the community.
