We loved our stay at Aavya! We were lucky enough to have booked whilst they had a 5 Elements retreat on over the new year. We so enjoyed the retreat - we had daily yoga and movement sessions either in the beautiful indoor yogashala with mountain view or on the outdoor terrace, a sound healing session, an astrology workshop, pottery, a spa session and journaling session by the Ganga. All the teachers were brilliant and knew their stuff! We loved our sunrise treck up to Kunjapuri Temple where we could see the Himalayas in the distance - a special memory we'll cherish always. The food was brilliant - the most wonderful team curating varied meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All delicious! We wish we had time to have taken the cooking class! Grateful for all the recommendations of where to go and helping us with travel to our next destination. A wonderful place to stay in a beautiful area of Rishikesh!

One of the most beautiful dorms around, all wooden built and comfy beds, I always slept well and just really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The yoga studio is beautiful and I’d use it throughout the day when classes weren’t booked which was such a big bonus. Good location at the top of Tapovan, walking distance to so many nice cafes and down to the river etc. but very quiet and surrounded by trees. The team are also so kind, Rohit was always so helpful with anything we needed and local area info, Ansh the cafe manager always super attentive and thoughtful to all guests needs, and Rizak brought a warm energy to the place. Would recommend for a clean and comfortable stay

I recently visited Aavya for a year-end reset and really loved the location and the overall setup. The concept of combining the stay with wellness and creative activities as add-ons is amazing. You can pick and choose activities based on what you feel like doing, which I really appreciated. They had already created an initial itinerary for me based on the preferences I shared beforehand, which was helpful. But I do feel it would work even better if this is discussed once you’re actually there, since your needs and mood can change, and the plan should be flexible. During my stay, I attended yoga, a spa session, and a sound healing session. I also signed up for three pottery sessions, which were absolutely amazing and honestly the highlight of my trip to both Rishikesh and Aavya. Aavya is very quiet, peaceful, and almost surreal; perfect if you’re looking to slow down, reset, and reflect. The people there are warm and welcoming and genuinely make you feel comfortable. The room prices are on the higher side, especially if you’re opting for a private room instead of a dorm, but once you experience the place, the pricing does feel justified.

I packed my bags overnight, without clarity or certainty, and left for my first solo trip, first retreat, and first time in Rishikesh. What made it possible was the warmth, patience, and unwavering support of my family at Aavya. Everything unfolded gently — unhurried, intentional, and deeply grounding. From time by the Ganga to sharing space with people who showed up fully, it felt like a quiet reset. The team is incredibly supportive meeting you with warmth at every step and I promise you the view is worth the climb . Thoughtful sessions of deep inner work , meditations, yummy nourishing food, healing touch, yoga, treks, pottery and painting and moments of simply being. The retreat was beautifully curated with intention and love. Sufi nights , bon fires , dancing , laughter that still echoes , the space holds magic. Aavya gave me the chance to breathe, slow down, and reconnect with myself. Grateful for the experience, the people, and the stillness I’m carrying back. 💛
